Kabob and More — Restaurant in Blacksburg

For too many years, the closest Southwest Asian&North African restaurant ("Middle Eastern" restaurant) has been at least an hour away from here. Sure, there is a "Mediterranean Grill" which is good but all of their things are super decorated (a gazillion toppings and fillings) and sometimes I just want a simple falafel or a shawarma wrap for lunch that I won't have any leftovers of later.

So, I was excited when I heard that this place had shown up just a few weeks ago. I knew I had to try it as soon as possible.

Their chicken shawarma is AMAZING, the best one I've ever had I think. I will definitely be coming back to this place again and again for more delicious concoctions. Definitely recommend!

Also, just as one final note: Instead of styrofoam to-go containers, they use plastic to-go containers. That's still not perfect but hey, at least with plastic to-go containers I can wash them and re-use them. I can't...

To make matters worse, the food arrived cold. ​The most significant issue was the value for money. The overall price-to-quantity ratio is simply not there. Furthermore, the final dish looked nothing like the photos on the menu; the pictures are highly misleading and set an unrealistic expectation for what is actually served. ​Finally, customers should be aware of a hidden fee: paying with a card incurs an extra charge. ​Given the excessive wait time, the cold food, the poor value, the misleading menu, and the added card fee, I absolutely would not recommend this...

Kabob & More in Blacksburg, VA has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town — the food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I tried the lamb shish kabob , , and turkish salad, and every bite was juicy and perfectly seasoned, paired with fragrant rice and crisp veggies. The hummus and falafel were also outstanding — creamy, crunchy, and way better than anything I’ve had locally. The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy, and even on a busy night they make you feel taken care of. Whether you’re craving authentic Middle Eastern food or just want a satisfying, well-balanced meal, this place is an absolute must-try....
