I can't take it anymore. I most likely will drive off if I hear Mr. Personality on the speaker. How many times do I have to encounter this person? ( without me mentioning his name I'm sure you all know this person) Anyway, he changes my order to suit what he thinks is correct. When I get to the drive up pay window, Thank goodness it wasn't him. I met Brett! Thank you đ what a professional and he should teach Mr. Personality a thing or two about customer SERVICE! Brett was a life saver and I appreciated his attitude. I soon realized that Mr. Personality was correcting him about my order. Stating its not allowed, etc...I called the manager Megan and told her what a great job Brett was doing. I decided to go back through drive thru and I get Mr. Personality who is also the Accountant apparently. Same attitude..." what else (sigh) ". Brett was at Cash window again Thank goodness! I asked him if Megan had said anything to him. Of course as I expected she had not. The least thing she could have done is tell him he got a atta boy, then not at end of shift! It makes you feel good when your told your doing an fantastic job and increases productivity. Fact! Anyway, somebody please tell Mr. Personality/ Mr. Accountant that I was not asking for anything free. I simply ordered a cheeseburger that was on special with NO cheese. So in actuality I'm saving the company the 2 pieces of cheese. Over a years time that is quite a bit of money at your rate per piece. OR....I guess I could just keep my mouth shut, pull over to eat and pull the cheese off the burger ( it's never melted anyway) and throw this biodegradable product in your parking lot so what ever critters can have it! Enough RANT... Thank you Brett. You will achieve any position in life you desire with your customer service. Please use McDonald's only as a stepping stone. Thanks again! If management would like to reach out to me I...
Read moreWe went through the drive through around 1 pm on Sunday. One child wanted a cheeseburger happy meal ketchup only and we paid for an extra order of apple slices with one happy meal. The apples were left out and we asked the cashier and he said I donât know I didnât bag it. The person bagging said I didnât know they wanted even though it was clearly on the order. We started to pull away and I said letâs check the cheeseburger. It had the sticker indicating it was only ketchup but was fully dressed. Because we had started pulling away I took it inside. There is only one cash register inside so it was difficult getting anyone to even acknowledge me or fix the issue. The cashier addressed me and took the burger back to the kitchen and then went to clean the dining room. I as left there for 10 minutes. I finally grabbed someoneâs attention bagging orders and they said I had to wait behind every order they had to get my corrected cheeseburger. Finally they handed me one. We decided to check it before we left and it had no meat in the burger. My daughter took it back to the counter and was rudely asked what do you want now. She opened the bun and said the burger. Someone behind the person helping us mocked her and said the burger. This is clearly not McDonaldâs standards. I worked for McDonaldâs in my teenage years and there were high expectations. It was a great place for young people to learn respect and how to perform quality work. There were enough people working but they were disorganized with no leadership available and had I donât care attitudes. I guarantee if they were out with their families spending hard earned money they would not put up with this service. I had to rate this 1 star for the review, but this was not even 1...
Read moreFYI for delivery, if youâre using Door Dash or Uber Eats or whatever, anticipate issues getting food on time or simply having your order unassigned with this McDonalds.
Most restaurants have a separate queue for delivery drivers. This one does not. They also have no instructions for where/how they want drivers to pick orders up and that seems to change depending on which manager is on duty. Drivers have to call the restaurant when they arrive to see where to collect the order, but getting them to answer the phone is difficult.
When you combine McDonaldsâ corporate mandate that orders be meticulously packaged with the fact that this restaurant is already having trouble keeping up with the drive through, take the times other reviewers have mentioned (20-35 minutes) and add 5 minutes for the packaging.
All that means youâre going to have trouble finding a driver willing to accept an order from this McDonalds in the first place. Drivers can see the mileage for the delivery and estimated payout before accepting. The rule of thumb is $1/mile to accept, this particular McDonalds is probably $3-$4/mile for most drivers.
Youâre also going to have trouble getting a driver to keep the order given the long wait times. Delivery apps have metrics for everything, completed delivery, on-time delivery, acceptance rate etc. This particular restaurant absolutely ruins on-time delivery metrics, in addition to making drivers miss out on orders from faster restaurants during lunch and dinner hours. If you see your driver waiting a long time, donât be surprised if they unassign the order to keep from getting an extremely late delivery or have a customer blame them...
