Capones Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bloomingdale

Ordered my pizza from slice.com. The estimated time was 30 to 50 minutes. I placed my order at 4:34 p.m. Pizza arrived 15 minutes after the estimated time. Not the end of the world. However, when the pizza came it was cold. Warm at best, cheese was not even melted Got on on your text messaging app with slice.com argued for nearly 20 minutes called the restaurant twice which they never answered. Apparently slice was able. Able to get a hold of the restaurant. The restaurant proceeded to tell me that the pizza was hot and freshly delivered which is false. The pizza was warm at best After nearly 20 minutes of arguing with slice slice agreed to reimburse me 50%.

. Still waiting for the restaurant to answer my call.

So I do not recommend you guys using this place to order your pizzas and I don't recommend going to Capone's to get your pizzas. They deliver cold and our pizzas and tell you that they're hot

More frustrating that I had to argue with the lady about having a cold pizza. Whatever happened to the customer is right

I usually go to a pizza place on Irving Park Road in Roselle, but they were getting too pricy, and even charged a fee for using a credit card. I thought I’d give Capone’s a try, and I’m very glad I did!! I love a good sausage topping, and it can either make or break the rest of the pizza. The sausage Capone’s uses is tasty and not rubbery, as it can be with some other places. It was perfect. The sauce is has just the right amount of tanginess, and the crust is superb. The lady that answered the phone to take my order was very pleasant and patient (I had a few questions) and she even offered me free mozzarella sticks or a discount. There was no additional fee for using my credit card, and service was prompt (I picked up my pizza). The inside decor is warm, cheerful and quaint. Extremely cozy. I could definitely see eating there. I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience there was so pleasant, from the time I called to place the order, to taking the last bite of my final slice, that I felt compelled to. If they were open today (New Year’s Day) I would be ordering another pizza, since my son wasn’t home to enjoy it yesterday. ...

Had just ordered here for the first time based upon reviews. As not many good pizza joints in roselle. Got some fried mushrooms and a small sausage/onion pizza for delivery.

Delivery was fast and hot..

The mushrooms looked so good. Included marinara (asked for side of ranch) was disappointing to see it's not homemade but in a packet.. The marinara sauce was great however. Took a bit of the first mushroom was good.. Got to a few more they were all mush.. Overfilled w/grease and soft. Not how they should be ended up tossing rest of that order..

The pizza. It was hot.. A lot of cheese sausage and onions.. The crust is pretty decent a little to thick and hard for thin crust but I will try it again. Maybe was just mixture of ingredients but ive had better pizza..

Overall this place based on first first didn't wow me like it did everybody else. Will update review when I place another order.
