We live in Bloomingdale so to go to Dino's is not only convenient but also helps support the community in which we live. However, we will not be going back. On several different dining occasions members of our dinner party have received raw food. Specifically raw eggs (whites totally uncooked), raw pancakes, when one got to the middle the batter ran out. On my most recent dining experienced, today, July 15th, 2013 my eggs were served with whites appearing as they do when one first breaks the eggs. I sent them back kindly and the waitress had them remade. The eggs that came back, that had the whites totally burnt and the yolks remained uncooked and runny. Even the waitress said, I doubt you are going to eat these. When I was presented with the bill no deduction had been made. I asked the cashier to credit me for the eggs. The owner stated she would not as they remade the food and I still refused to eat it. The owner also stated that this wasn't the first time that I had complained. I told her that anytime I received raw or burnt food I would complain and that just because they served it or remade it did not mean it had been made right. She took my bill and returned with it charging me ala carte for what I did eat of my meal making my bill $5.00 more expensive. She told me to take my pick on which bill I wanted to pay. I told her and i will be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau, The Health Department, and any restaurant review I can post.
DO NOT EAT HERE. The food is hit or miss and it is a miss, BUYER BEWARE. You do not have the right to refuse uncooked/overcooked food and you will be expected to pay for it even though you did not eat it as it was inedible.
Always believe in a second change but this has happened way too many times. WILL NOT BE BACK.
I have also just spent the last hour signing up to numerous websites in order to write/post reviews. Simply to warn others to choose any other restaurant to eat out and AVOID DINO'S Cafe in...
Read moreOMG! we ate like a KING♡. We had the pork chop and man its to die for. It is a little on the dryish side but just juicy enough to chew and not have a dry mouth. There coffee is very delightful and the hash browns are crispy not burnt, crispy golden brown♡ the eggs sunny side up are actually sunny side up love it. Silver were was clean and plates were clean But the water cups need improvement in cleaning you can definitely spot some water spots. But diner we clean and the bathroom is very clean. Live that they don't have a soap for hand very scented. The cooks have a open window to be seen as the cook the food and they look very nice with the white hats and white chef coats. The seem Mexican or Latinos but love that if they are speaking in there native toung they are very courtesy of others to not here them. They seem very respectful and they are very quiet when working. The waiters are very courtesy and are very fast ours was Daniel he is nice and he spoke Spanish so he was able to help my husband completely. He asked is there anything I can do for you. Even after we were done. And he waited for us to ask for the check not like some other places that they are rude and bring it to you saying... here when ever you are ready (to leave). He was very polite and we ditched ihop for here and now thanks to the delightful food and service we are coming here from now on. Thank...
Read moreWe went here because I'm pregnant and was craving breakfast last night. My husband had the broccoli soup and didn't think that it was good. I didn't even try it because you could see the fat sitting in the top of it. He sent the soup back with out making a big deal to only have the OWNER come and pretty much intimidate us and tell us that he was wrong. He said that they are known for their soups and sold a 100 quarts a day. The whole restaurant was staring at us including the staff. It was so unprofessional and he made me so uncomfortable that I asked for the check immediately (yes he still charged us for the horrible canned soup that he served us) The waitress came back and apologized but at this point I just wanted to get the heck out of there. They also served me cold soggy fries with my eggs benedict. I have gone to this place on many occasions and always had a very pleasant experience but after being made that uncomfortable and basically bullied by the OWNER I will never return. I will make sure that my friends and family are aware of the awful man the owner is. We will NOT be supporting his business anymore. I do NOT recommend this place...
