3 Amigos Taqueria — Restaurant in Bloomington

My boyfriend and I have ordered takeout five times from here. I always get the pulled pork BBQ nachos and he always gets the taco salad. The first two times we ordered, the taco salad was filled to the top of the shell, so much so my boyfriend couldn’t eat it all at once. The last three times the taco salad was barely half full. I said something to the server this time about the portion size. She said she didn’t make the taco salad and they are a small business. I never said she made the taco salad and I never assumed she did. I had my boyfriend come in the restaurant to see if he was okay with it. He said it was fine (because he was hungry). As we were leaving the young lady said, sarcastically, enjoy your meal and have a nice day. We will not be ordering from there again. There are other Mexican restaurants in Bloomington that we can and will be ordering from. It’s sad that young people think they can say anything to people and expect them to not be offended.

As an Indian I wasnt sure I will like it and I am a vegetarian as well. Names of the dishes I hadnt heard of before so I wasnt sure what to order, but the waiter was helpful enough, he navigated me through the menu. All the vegetarian items are marked with "V". Waiter also recommended some dishes to try.

What I like about this restaurant is that they give complimentary nachos as soon as you sit on the table. So you can munch on nachos while looking through the menu. This also helps when your food is being prepared, so meanwhile you can munch on nachos and you dont keep waiting on the food.

Another thing I liked is that serving size of veg options was large, so one veg dish was enough for two people.

Our favorite Mexican food in town. The burritos are insanely huge and delicious. The restaurant is chill and cozy with friendly staff. The margaritas are of course great and the salsa is PERFECT. For whatever reason, we can only get a specific burrito through Postmates- the burrito loco. It different than if you order from the restaurant or through them online.
