Today was my first negative experience at this location I'm frequent customer I visit this location at least twice a week and never had an issue til today. The food was good as usual, but the customer service was lacking,I came in alone just like always,I ate my food while watching the game the colts were playing the Texans and it started absolutely pouring down outside so I decided to charge my phone while I watched the game and I look to see two gentlemen peering down at me and asking me if I was okay. One of them was a Mexican guy and the other was the manager,he was short, scruffy looking guy, Caucasian, both of these gentlemen stood over me and wouldn't leave til I just decided to get up on my own. I felt disrespected, actually I didn't even know that he was the manager,so upon leaving I decided to go and tell how disrespected I felt,I would even go as far as saying that I felt bullied or signaled out,I was completely embarrassed in front of customers,so I had to talk to him,and he proceeded to tell me about some homeless issues they've been having,I said are you insinuating that I am homeless? It was crazy, what's their problem with homeless people i don't know but it's not my problem, Bloomington need to fix that issue but I was treated like the homeless. Smh. He said that the reason that they hovered over me was because they didn't know how I would react, terrible decision! What if I was crazy and violent that's not how you approach anyone, completely unprofessional, culver's please find an adequate manager the guy didn't even properly groom him self prior to coming to work. He looked like he had just jumped out of bed and came to work and by the way,the first shift employees were perfect. The second shift crew was...
Read moreI've been a fan of Culver's for years, but having only enjoyed their flavors when traveling, as they had not expanded yet to Bloomington. When they opened in Btown, they lived up to the hype. While their brand is expanding throughout the Midwest, Culver's is not a typical "fast food" joint. The restaurant is always clean, the crew is always friendly, and the meals are always prepared with the freshest ingredients. It's very clear owner John Laskowski has cultivated a certain culture among staff that shines through. Unlike many similar restaurants, the staff really do seem to enjoy working at Culver's and make customers truly feel "at home." They seem to have a stake in the establishment's success, whether it's making sure all registers are attended during busy times, cleaning the floor and equipment, or helping to bus tables. This seems to eminate from Mr. Laskowski himself, who actively performs any task, no matter how small. Moreover, staff is not afraid to chat with customers, again owing to the example set forth by their restaurant's owner. It's interesting that my wife and I have been to the restaurant several times since its opening and we are seeing familiar faces of repeat customers. It seems Culver's has made an early, pleasant mark in our community. I see that foothold only...
Read moreLet's just say that I was blown away by the service, quality, and overall experience when I went to Culver's. Everything was perfect. The food came fast and fresh out of the kitchen, it was warm, the bag smelled wonderful, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and polite. Mad props for these guys and gals, this place is amazing. Keep it up!! Bloomington needs a really good diner since steak and shake is no more (like it had been). I will definitely be coming back, and I will definitely be telling people about how awesome this place is. Shout out to you guys again, just like how I had it in Chicago illinois. Best fish sandwich in town. beer batter was crispy, fish was crunchy, it's tartar sauce was bell-balanced, plenty of mayo but not too much, the cheese curds blew my head off literally. I was completely gobsmacked by the quality of those little perfect golden cheesy bites. They were crispy, fresh out of the bag and we couldn't stop eating them. We ran out so quickly and we just laughed about it. We love you guys, Culver's...
