Pizza was good despite being cold when it arrived. When I called, My delivery was almost 20 minutes past the expected delivery according to their website, it was an additional 20 minutes before it arrived. When I spoke to the store they said it left 10 minutes prior to my call it was an additional 18 minutes before it arrived apparently their drivers don't have any way to keep the pizza warm so it was cold, not warm, cold when it arrived. It arrived an hour and a 15 minutes after I it was made according to the information on the box. ( that's also according to the store employee I spoke to on the first call.) I called back when it arrived cold, The manager didn't seem to think 30 minutes in route from The store to me was unreasonable despite the fact that I'm less than a mile and a half away. And again that was an hour and 15 minutes after it was made. In fact his comments suggested that I was being unreasonable because I was placing a delivery order and expected it to be hot when it arrived. He added that they had a heavy delivery burden this evening and I should be understanding of the driver's availability and how it might affect my orders condition when it arrived. Additionally he added that I should have called them to check on the delivery status. which I did but I don't think that's my obligation) Lol funny thing is they actually called me to confirm something on my order because there's a problem with their website. They didn't inform me about delivery issues at that time. And again I understand when they're busy the time from order to delivery is going to be an issue. However, This is simply a matter of when it left there and how long it took to get here after that. My food arrived cold because their driver doesn't have the appropriate equipment to keep it hot and they don't have enough drivers to get all of the orders to the customer's timely. And yes the tip was over 20% so it's not like I got put to the back of the bus because...
Read moreJust had a hostile and extremely unpleasant interaction with a delivery driver here by the name of Leslie (spelling unknown). Highly recommend management talk to their employees about their attitude because if your employees are acting like this in your own parking lot to non-customers, imagine how they are acting when you can't see them, delivering food to a customer.
I had just gotten to the parking lot and parked. I was checking my phone in my car when Leslie came over and started harassing me for allegedly parking too close to her delivery vehicle, even though I was perfectly in the center of my spot and well within the lines. We got into a verbal confrontation, and even though I did move out of the way to give her space to get to her vehicle and pull out, she came back, rolled down her windows, threatened me, told me to come out of the car and fight her, then decided to march into the neighboring restaurant, Hoosier Seoulmate, to bad mouth me presumably. Again, I was parked well within the lines of my spot. If she had asked me nicely to move my car, I would've done so happily in seconds without a fuss. Instead, she initiated the interaction with a serious attitude. Regardless, I did eventually move my car and give her space, but that wasn't enough for her.
Pizza X, if you're reading this, please consider how your employees are treating people in your own parking lot, what that says about how they interact with customers when they're out of sight, and how your employee's behavior and attitude reflects on...
Read moreJust want to give a shout out to PizzaX West. We were celebrating a sweet young friend’s birthday last night with some pizza. I ordered and the pizza was to arrive 7:35-7:55. Normally, pizzaX minutes mean you’ll have your pizza no later than 7:36. We joke about how you need to actually be really hungry when you order there because of how fast your pizza is going to get to you.
Well, a driver had a problem with their car, and we didn’t get our pizza until 8:30. I got a phone call explaining the situation, a $5 off coupon, and free pizza driven out by the manager to compensate for our wait.
It’s literally the only time my pizza has ever been late. Ever. We always order from there and about once a week. As a neurodivergent household we like consistency, and as a Momma, I like that pizza x uses fresh locally sourced ingredients. The manager said as she was leaving “please call the store if you need anything else.” I was wildly impressed with how professional and thoughtful the staff were on the three separate occasions I spoke with someone. What a way to turn a hardship into a win. I was so impressed. Our pizza was...
