This was my worst chik fil a experience. I have done the app order many times, very comfortable with the app. I placed my curbside order, drove to the location, which is outside of the mall, been there before so i knew exactly where i was going. But upon arrival i seen signs saying chik fil a curbdidee pickup with an arrow, and they did not point to the restaurant i knew, i continue to the building i knew, there were many cars in line for the drive through, so many that i could not even get in the parking lot, and there were no signs for curbside pickup like the ones i had seen at entry, So i thought maybe they were actually doing curbside where those signs were pointing me to. So i went to the spot with the sign, parked and on the app tapped arrived. It showed my order process, and got to the point of saying someone was bringing it out. So i wait,,, and wait,,,, over 10 minutes go by and i see chik fil a workers going in and out. So i call the number to the store which by the way was not easy to find. I get many options, one of which was speak to a manager, i pressed that option, and waited another 2 or 3 minutes, then a message came on to enter a pin code, after not entering a pin code, i was basically hung up on. So then decided to go back the the building i knew i had placed my order with. I was then able to get in the parking lot and discovered there were indeed curbside spots at this location, i asked the worker about the signs pointing me to a random curbside parking spot that no one brought my food too and was informed there is another chik fil a in the mall and that those signs were theirs. So being from out of town not knowing there were 2 chik fil as within 200 yards of each other, i was at the wrong location, which by the signs i thought i was at the correct location. Someone needs to make signs designating which store is what. I was extremely dissatisfied with the whole ordeal. This really needs to be fixed so others do not have the same horrible experience. On top of that my order was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst Chick-fil-A EVER! I didn't realize you could have a terrible experience at Chick-fil-A, but at this location you can.
We came here to eat after the track & field sectionals. We arrived at 10:35, ordered our food, sat towards the front & began eating. You could hear the staff griping the entire time about kicking all of us out 5 min before they closed, how annoyed they were we came in. I'm sorry, I thought they were in the service business??? We had hungry athletes who just competed. In total there were 12 of us (not the entire team, just 3 families).
They came over 5 till 11pm and said they were taking last call for refills. They came over again right at, 11 said they're closed & we all had to leave immediately. One couple were just given their food about 10 min before they announced this (no idea why their food took so long).
I've worked in customer service for years and have never seen such horrible treatment. I was a server in college & always hated when people came in 5 min before we closed but still served them with Grace and did my best to make it a great experience. We didn't come in 5 min before closing and I expect more from Chick-fil-A (customer service is their top priority). The Greenwood store provides a much better experience. This location should take lessons from Greenwood...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Chick-fil-a! I have never had a bad experience there. I have been in Bloomington for 6 months now and have experienced issues with mobile pick up multiple times. This evening went to pick up an order and sat in the road for 10 min waiting to pull past the drive through line to building entrance. There were so many cars backed up all directions that people just trying to get through to Target couldnāt pull in and out. During this time I observed the team members taking orders all the way to the back but not moving cars forward while taking order. When I finally got thru I mentioned that to two team members walking in- granted they were teenagers and not person I should address but mentioned to them as they were walking in- they were laughing pretty hard by the time they got to the door. I wasnāt trying to make anyone feel bad but I do feel owner/operator could do something to improve this situation that has happened to me at least 6-8 times when I have picked up. I usually go to Southport store in Indianapolis and this is how they do it and they are higher volume- way more efficient and usually in and out within 5 minutes. Maybe another entrance for mobile orders? Chick-fil-a is known for customer service and Iām sure they will figure out a way to...
