Golden Wok Bloomington — Restaurant in Bloomington

I'm actually upset for the first time ever wit h this place. Of you want delivery SERIOUSLY GO ELSEWHERE!!!! No matter what night of the week, since I moved to Bloomington almost a.year ago they'd say "30-45 minutes" but always show up with I'm 25 minutes. This time it took 47 minutes for 3 Cheese Wonton" orders and a pint (smallest size) of chicken fried rice. THAT'S IT!!!! When the delivery guy finally shows up (after calling to find out the.manager barely speaks or understands English) the delivery guy pulls unto my neighbors driveway, acts like I'm the idiot for asking if all that I ordered was in the bag when I got no order reciept, just a card reciept and pen shoved at my face with a "You have to sign". I asked politely why it took so long and he yelled in my face, "well were busy, it's always busy and it takes time.to cook food or did you want it raw?" I gave $0.01 tip and shut the door. He proceeded to spit on my neighbors nice and new sports car. ..... ya that's totally a satisfaction...

I love this place. Seriously, it's the best. It's very calm and quiet, never overly packed (at least when I go there for dinner). The food is amazing, the sushi though....never been disappointed by their sushi. From taste to presentation. You'll just have to try it. The chef's specials are great. And the chef who prepares it does so with obvious pride in his work. I love watching him roll. The staff is awesome, always friendly but not overwhelmingly. Super organized. They almost always have the food ready to go within 15 minutes. Call in your order when you're getting in the car and it'll be ready when you get there. It's always clean. Nothing is overpriced. I really have way too many good things to say about this place, I would definitely recommend it! n_n I don't even write reviews and look how much I just said! That's just cause I love this place so much. Sooooo you better go I PUT A LOTTA...

I’ve had their food before and it’s good, but my experience tonight was a little different. Placed an order and the site said it would take 25-60 minutes to be delivered. I called after an hour and 15 minutes and no food. They said the driver was out to deliver the food. I called back about 10 minutes later to get a refund and the person I spoke to on the phone said the driver may have delivered to food to the wrong address, but was very understanding and apologetic. They were happy to refund my order and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. More businesses should operate this way. Things happen, I get it. And Golden Wok took advantage of the opportunity to impress after a mistake, while taking responsibility.
