First time dining in; have always done delivery or pick-up before. The pizza is fantastic! Never had a bad pizza here. The dine-in experience, on the other hand, was a disaster. No other guests were there when we arrived. When I was ready to order (after studying the menu), I told the guy manning the register and he said "go ahead". I start giving him my order, and then noticed he's entering a completely different order. He gets done with that and I give him the order again. Have to repeat myself a couple of times, but finally everything is right. Tell him we're going to sit on the patio outside, he says "No problem, we'll bring it to you". 40 minutes pass, during which time we watch 6 other people show up to pick up take out orders. Then the guy who took our order comes out and asks what we ordered. Looks puzzled, and mutters, "Oh, I think that's done". People who came and sat down 10 minutes after us get the same treatment about 5 minutes later. After 15 more minutes they go in to check what happened, and come out to tell us that they are remaking our orders, because "something" happened to them. So 1 strike for waiting 40 minutes to figure out we haven't gotten our food, and then not telling us what's going on after the finally remembered we'd ordered. Strike 2 for not offering any compensation for making us wait over an hour to get our food, WHILE PEOPLE WHO CAME FOR DINE IN AFTER US GOT SERVED, ATE, AND LEFT! Strike 3 for not even offering an apology when we finally did get our food. Great pizza, but you're better off doing delivery. Don't dine in, you'll lose your appetite before you ever...
Read moreI am giving you one star for your review but you deserve zero. And I sincerely hope you do see this. March 3rd just thus past saturday you charged my bank card for $63.95. And currently I have already sent my bank a dispute form. And here is why.
Your restaurant that made the charge is in Bloomington, MN. All the while me, my wife, and my boys where in Rochester, MN jist starting our errands when we noticed our account was now -$56.98 in the red.
This is miraculous as the card was with us. So not only did you charge my card. You did so without the number me giving you the number. I damn sure didn't order pizza especially from a place that is almost a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive.
So I ask myself what kind of business openly commits credit fraud? I don't know how you got the card number. I care that you ran it with no proof that whomever you allowed to use didn't give you anything proving it was theirs. And believe if my bank doesn't accept the dispute. I will be making a 3 hour drive to come collect what you stole from me.
And I'm not just coming for my money. I want the day, time, and receipt from the exchange charge. I want a copy of any security footage from the moment of the charge. To either see the face you allowed to steal from or the face of your employee who will try to deny it. After that you can pray I don't seek legal consequences....
Read moreHave ordered in past from Umbria but this time I received a pizza (delivery) with an odious, rancid-smelling and -tasting crust. I called the restaurant to advise. He offered a free replacement but I declined, figuring if they're using rancid dough or flour there wouldn't be much point. I suggested he throw out that dough so it does not happen to others. He mentioned he thought it was the pan. After the call, I tore open a part of the crust's edge and both sniffed and tasted it. It was not just the pan. I called him back, suggested he throw out both the dough and whatever flour it was made from. He asked me, ' by rancid, do you mean just old-smelling?' I replied 'no, I mean RANCID. Look it up online if you are unsure of the meaning. You can throw out the rancid flour/dough or not, your choice, but I will be speaking w/others about this.' I am going to wash my hands, now, because the rancid smell from just my fingers after handling the crust is a...
