If I could give this location a zero, I would.. I ordered at the kiosk, but when I tried to pay, it said that I could not, so I had to pay at the counter. No worries. I got 4 cheeseburgers and a basket of fries for my 4 kids and when I got my food, everything was fine except the "basket" of fries was little more than how much you would get in a medium. Not enough to feed 4 kids by a long shot. Mind you, the basket of fries is $4 and change, so I felt cheated. When I brought the issue to the attention of an employee, the lady at the front counter did not even allow me to finish my sentence before rudely cutting me off and addressing another employee behind her (manager) saying "You take care of this". Then the manager came up and tried to argue with me that the amount that was in the basket was SUPPOSED to be LESS than a large. This made absolutely no sense to me because a basket costs more than a dollar more than a large. After almost 2 full minutes of arguing with an extremely rude manager, I told her to just forget it and I would take my business elsewhere. Once I said I would be writing this review, she magically came out with a basket of fries for me in a new bag. Why? Why did it take so much effort and argument over FRENCH FRIES? I was just trying to treat my kids to something special because they only very rarely get McDonald's. I won't EVER go back to this location. There are 3 other McDonald's in Bloomington, and I haven't ever been treated so rudely or made to feel like less of a person, much less a customer.
Edit January 2023: This location has improved by MILES. I went today and when I got my food, it was made incorrectly. HOWEVER, the gentleman that was at the counter (I'm pretty sure he was the manager) was one of the nicest customer service representatives I have come across in recent history. He personally fixed my order, made me feel like a valued customer, and did it quickly and with a smile. I could definitely tell that he enjoyed his hob and had respect for customers. I may go back to this location again due to its convenience, but it's been quite awhile since my previous visit, so I'm hoping that McDonald's will continue to improve as they have proven to over the past 6 months at this...
Read moreI usually go to the McDonald's early mornings around 5:30 am to 6 am. I got off work a little later than usual but breakfast was still going, so I decided to stop by the drive thru and order a bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle meal with a side of bacon.. I always ask for my bacon well done! The early morning staff always makes my order to my standards. This time my bacon wasn't well done even tho I had to pull up to the 3rd window and wait, also the hash brown was very soggy and undercooked. so I had to come home and pretty much recook my entire order in my air fryer. I had just gotten off work, paid 11$ total for my food I shouldn't have had to come home and throw my bacon + my hash brown in the air fryer to make sure it was cooked all the way and the bacon was well done to my liking like I asked for them to do. I proceeded to call the store and speak to the manager. she was very RUDE! She answered the phone and I proceeded to tell her I just came through the drive through and gave her my order, then i had told her every time I come to this Mcdonalds around 9:30 - 10am to order breakfast my food is never made to my liking. I told her my concerns about the food and the hashbrown being soggy and undercooked. she had blamed it on the new grease they supposedly put in the fryers, she then hung up on me. She never tried to fix the problem or ask me if I wanted to bring it back up there for her to fix, nothing. she just said it was due to the grease and hung up on me.. I'm not very satisfied with the customer service I had received today, nor am I satisfied with the quality of the food! I just wanted something quick and cheap after working 13 hr shift all night. I will never waste my time or money going to this McDonald's ever again. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to the one located off National Rd for now on! It's sad how this world has become. Read moreWell I ordered my food through the app at 3:30am Est/Stnd time. I was informed they were prepping my order and so I went to the store to get my food. When I got there they informed me that they hadn't had any orders up until my order for quite a while. They lied to me straight to my face because that was 1007% inaccurate!! I KNOW this to be true because I am a contractor for door dash and I had just picked up an order from there hence the reason I decided I wanted to place an order. As I dropped off the DoorDash order I had just picked up I got another order through DoorDash to pick up from the same McDonald's and accepted the order because I was already heading there to pick up my order and the location I had to deliver it to was on my way home so it just made sense. So, IF they hadn't had any orders and therefore couldn't make my food (a 10 piece nugget and a lg drink), then how is it I had just left there with the only DoorDash order left out of 7 or 8 other DoorDash orders & then 15mins later get assigned a new order from there which had to be placed after I had placed my order because they come through as soon as they're placed so the customer can get their order in a timely fashion and it not be cold. I am honestly very disappointed 😞 that this 24hr McDonald's not only lied to my face but, there is also the fact they couldn't or should I say wouldn't make my order due to them closing... 🤷♀️ A McDonalds that is open 24hrs is closing just after they received my order that couldn't be cancelled because once they confirm it and start prepping your order it can no longer be cancelled. I didn't get my food and they couldn't refund my money. So now I have to go through a long drawn out process of contacting support through the app during regular business hours to explain all of this and then have to wait 72hrs minimum for my money to be refunded... Needless to say I'm NOT A FAN OF McDonald's...
