Super JJ Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Bloomington

Called up to place an order and the owner took it. Messed up the name so for whatever reason when we went to pickup the food 15 minutes later it hadn't even been started so we got to wait another 15 minutes for it to finish. Finally got the food and left to go enjoy it. Nope. The 5 hushpuppies were barely luke warm and this in the parking lot. Should have known there huh? The large chicken strip dinner had 2 edible strips in it. The other strip was 90% batter. The forth strip never made it into the meal so basically paid for a large but got a small. The coleslaw? Nope neither dinner had that either. The woman running the register was great though. She offered for us to come back for our MIA strip and the coleslaw but by that time what's the point? Lesson learned, go to the location on Market...

These people are horrible! They barely speak English and spend more time arguing with you when they mess up your order. I will NEVER visit this establishment again. Their food comes out horrible and a severe disappointment. If I never tried a good J&J fish then I would give up on this franchise totally. I've never been so frustrated in my life. I would rather drive across town over 15 minutes away than come back to this place EVER again. On top of everything else they are rarely courteous and try to upcharge for everything. Then final straw has been continuously being denied my soda when I have brought the lunch specials. We visited the Bloomington IL restaurant on Market. I decided to bring my Brother here who is visiting from the South to try this place out. This was my first time and wanted to try it out. My Brother is a Professional Cook, mind you. Ordered Fish from here, he almost puked..... it was horrible, not seasoned at all just plain battered fish. The batter was pulling from the fish with every bite. How do you mess up fish? From appearance it looked scrumptious, then you take a bite...very bland. Tip... please season fish as well as the batter for a finger lickin good taste. You're in the perfect location to make a really good profit. Just...
