Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Blue Springs

If you order from here make sure you have a backup plan. After a long busy day out we decided we didn't want to make dinner so ordered delivery online. We got a text saying the order was on its way 24 minutes after placing the order. Over 30 minutes after that we still have not received our food so I called the store. I was put on hold while they figured it out and that was fine. I get delays can happen. Come to find out there was a "delivery attempt" whatever that means and the food came back to the store. We are in a residential neighborhood. The house is easy to find. I verified the address is correct. Nobody else has ever had a problem finding the place. Any GPS will take you right here. We have a doorbell and we were in the dining room which is connected to the front door. There was no communication from pizza but about the issues and we were dealing with 2 young and increasingly fussy kids. The solution that was offered was they could remake the order meaning we would have to start our wait and the kids wait all over again. I just had them cancel it and now I have to make a late dinner for the kids who are already fussy and delayed in their eating. I understand things happen but not impressed with the customer service or communication.

After reading a couple other reviews here it sounds like they say they knock on a door to deliver. I have a camera system installed and can show proof nobody came up to at all and I double checked it to make sure the issue...

Terrible. If I could give less than one star I would. Ordered online and the website stated that it would take 1.5 hours for delivery. It was noon so that much of a delay I can understand. 1:45 I call to see where the order is and the lady I speak with said the delivery driver had knocked and no one came to the door and that he also called. We were sitting here waiting the entire time,no knock nor any phone call. The lady I was speaking with was not helpful at all and very argumentative. I asked for the manager and she stated that she was the manager. So I asked for her name which she refused to give and gave me a number to call for corporate after which she hung up on me. The number she gave for corporate wasn't Pizza Hut or anyone related to Pizza Hut but a private number. Most likely someone she knew and figured if I called it would be of no consequence and she could continue her terrible customer service without regard. I contacted corporate and gave them a detailed account of everything I have written here. I will never frequent this particular...

10/16/23 Update things have much improved at this Pizza Hut location. Seems they are back to where they once were. I am giving them 5 Stars now!

Waited 10 or more minutes at the counter employees saw me there but did not acknowledge me. When someone finally walked by she said someone will be with you and walked out the door. The person who finally waited on me was in such a hurry to get me out the door that I had to ask for the drinks I ordered and the wings. She got the drinks and once against tries to get me out the door. I reminded her of the wings. She went and got them. Problem is when I got to my destination 30 minutes away they were dry wings with no sauce! I used to go to this pizza hut frequently and quit for a time because something was always wrong or missing with my order. I just started going back and nothing...
