Here it is Official review now that Timmys has been open for a little while. The donuts are great!!! The coffee mostly consistent unless there is an issue with staff then its WAAAAY off. My wife and I have stopped in at random times and it seems like when the location is busy it simply fails. Management has no plan the employees are running over each other not communicating. The lobby flooded with patrons waiting. My major beef is when I place an online order then get to the location and pick up the order and ask why what I ordered online is not in my order I get the starry eyed glare.... oops there is a vacancy. The inventory is not controlled well they hand off pick up order items to the drive through, employees grab items at random and that's not fair for someone who pre orders items and expects to pick up said items. The menu items are FANTASTIC and the lobby is awesome and comfortable to be in. The overall down fall is the staff unless its slow, then they are great. When it is busy the management fails they are often not seen or if they are they have no plan no guidance and no direction and that spreads to the entire staff. Here it is still sort of new and its a poor look and may put this location in jeopardy when competitors are right down the street. Trust me Id rather have me some Timmy's. As someone who had visited in Canada and was mega excited for this spot to open Im kinda disappointed honestly. I would rather come here than anywhere else. Please do not give in to the demise and work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped in during the soft open (remember, this is kind of like a beta test, so glitches are expected!) and got a couple of regular doughnuts and some Timbits (doughnut holes). The doughnuts are a bit more cakey than a Krispy Kreme, but I really like that! The Bavarian Cream was delish (though maybe a bit more cream next time?) and the honey dip was a great basic doughnut. The chocolate doughnut was like a rich chocolate cake, but the best (to my surprise!) was the Birthday Cake Timbit! I expected a basic vanilla with sprinkles, but it was cherry, and so good!!
Service was lovely, and I think the whole crew must have been there behind the counter, learning. They accidentally filled the order before mine twice, and lost their place, but you know what? We're all learning, and they figured it out! Everyone was very kind and seemed happy I was there. Prices were very reasonable.
The parking lot is a good size, though the drive through was wrapped around the building. I only saw two handicapped parking spaces. The interior is well lit and clean, with plenty of space for anyone mobility impaired. There are two restrooms, designated male and female, but they're huge individual restrooms, so plenty of space for wheelchairs or strollers, and frankly, any gender could use them, so I hope they'll just make them restrooms without the gender signs.
All in all a great experience, and I'll be back to try more of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe coffee was pretty good but the donuts were a hit with my dad and sister. We got a chocolate glazed donut and a honey dipped. I got a cold brew but I think next time I will add a flavor. Dad said drip coffee was good and sister liked her iced vanilla chai latter with almond milk. Mila was so nice and friendly! Just because their menu is a little funky online, we got a medium iced vanilla chai latte, a medium drip coffee, a large cold brew, and two donuts and it was around $17. Def sign up for the rewards programs. Hereās my āneeds improvementā but I think itās just super new-the staff seemed to congregate which is fine (when I went it seemed slow but that was about 3:30 in the afternoon). It seemed like a few people may have not known what they were making. The person making the drinks would bring one and then look at me and I would say the next drink āoh ya!ā and then again. Several people had ear buds in which is also fine but it seemed like you couldnāt get their attention. They all seemed younger so maybe itās their first job. Everyone was nice though. Also the donuts were good but they put single donuts in a paper sleeve and the icing came off our chocolate glazed. I think these issues will iron out and in fairness, I drove 40 mins there and they had to make a 40 min drive home. Will I be back? Absolutely! I need to try the vanilla iced donuts and timbets next. Hopefully more Tim Hortonās open up closer to...
