Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Blue Springs

I ordered the Açaí bowl. And it took them 30 seconds to get it ready… turns out it was frozen asf!. I like Açaí Bowls and this is the only one I’ve ever had that is FROZEN even the FRUITS ON TOP was frozen!. I had to wait a little to eat it and I even put it on top of my Car seat with the heater on to help soften it up. But it didn’t even soften. 20 mins later I just got home, I opened it and there was a hair on it I thought it was mine but My hair is dyed…. I called the place to tell them, and I asked for a refund. The guy on the Phone said “Bring it Back and I will give you a new one m’am”. And I said “Sir I just got home and it’s a 20 mins drive”. He said “Put it in your freezer and comeback next time with it and I will give you a new one”.

At this point I told him to just Refund me and I won’t be eating the Açaí Bowl.

He said “Bring it back next time and I will refund you”.

This is absurd. Bad Customer Service, And even bad smoothie. They are supposed to be made fresh to order. My money was wasted. Never get my money back. Didn’t even get to eat the Açaí bowl.

This is such a small bowl and costed me $11.55

I’ve been to somewhere else and it’s the same size that cost...

Recently moved to Bluesprings and so we started going to this tropical smoothie instead of our old location, every time we have gone it’s been, getting ripped off and things being mostly spinach or lettuce, BOTH of our egg wraps had not even a half of an egg scrambled on it… basically crumbs , we also got a bad rotten smoothie the other month too, and the owner told us we were wrong and all the ingenuity are fresh, I brought it to my entire family and they all said it tasted so bad! The owner seems to not be concerned about quality and mostly just cutting costs for himself. I would recommend driving to the lees summit...

I don’t want to even give this place a one star. Two different times I’ve ordered a Thai chicken wrap with extra meat and was not given extra meat on a delivery order. Call them to talk to the manager and no manager is ever there. Then someone said I’ll grab your manager and hung up the phone on me. Not sure what kind of establishment you’re running over there but y’all better find out how to...
