We've been frequent customers for at least 2 years now. Always order the same thing. Yesterday, when we got our Honey Chicken delivered I noticed it looked dry. Normally, it's covered in a golden, sticky sauce. (Ya know, like honey?!) I tried stirring it around & all that jazz. There wasn't anything to stir around like I was hoping. I tried a bite. GROSS. It was fall apart mushy. And didn't taste right. It was as if someone squirted a few drops of honey in some water & poured it on the chicken. So naturally, I called to let them know something wasn't right. At first, they tried to say it was from the condensation of being in the container. Uh.... no. It wasn't. Again, we've ordered the same thing for 2 years & NEVER had this happen. Next thing I know I'm put on "hold" (phone set on the counter) & all I hear is yelling. I can't make out what is being said, but you could tell someone wasn't happy. The girl gets back on & says the best we can do is offer you a refund for that item or a credit. But he's not making you a new one. So, you're gonna offer me a "credit" but won't allow me to use it now to get the mess up corrected??? Yeah, no thanks. I've worked in restaurants since I was 16. That is NOT how you treat or keep customers. I've dealt with plenty of people always trying to get a free meal. That's why I hate ever speaking up! My intentions were to bring it to their attention so they could get it fixed to avoid another unsatisfied customer. I just wanted my honey chicken they way it's always been, delicious. Because they didn't want to accept the fact that someone was off their cooking game that day & make the wrong right, we will no longer be giving them our business. I will not recommend them either. It's truly soul crushing for me as I'm in love with the food. However, I cannot accept the poor treatment as a...
Read moreHibachi food was good. Sushi is edible, not the best I've ever had by any means.
Counter kid was courteous and polite. My problem is, I asked for no sesame seeds on my sushi. When it came out and there were sesame seeds, my boyfriend said something to the counter kid. I ordered 4 rolls, stopped them half way and tried to avoid a disaster... Not my fault it was made incorrectly.
Commence yelling from the kitchen. "Are you serious?! They never said no sesame!" Yep. I'm a liar. Me and the counter kid confirmed when I paid the bill before my food was even made. There was no reason for the yelling, OR the chattering on too fast for me to pick up what language they were speaking that continued for 5 minutes. Nor was it necessary for the wife and principal yeller to come out like she's "bussing tables" to give me the side stink eye.
Food: edible....
Read moreDO NOT TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. First and last visit here today. I ordered broccoli beef and it was not bad at all. However, I also paid about $10 for chicken lo mein and it was in a pretty small to go container, hardly any chicken, total rip off. The sweet and sour shrimp were awful. They had to have been fried twice and the breading was so hard/stale and just nasty and had small/medium shrimp that were butterflied so it was this tiny amount of shrimp with WAY too much batter. The Orange chicken was okay. The fried rice was disgusting. The chicken spring roll was gross and had almost no chicken. The rangoons were too sweet, like it made them inedible. I threw away the shrimp because they just didn't seem safe to eat as well as all the rice, the rest of the egg roll, the rangoons, some serious money just thrown away I was so disappointed. JUST...
