We had the pleasure of visiting Winetime tonight with friends and our daughter, and it was an absolutely fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — the kind of place where you immediately feel at home.
We enjoyed a few bottles of wine (all excellent choices!) along with appetizers, entrées, and a decadent chocolate mousse for dessert. Our table ordered a variety of entrées — strip steak, scallops, flatbread, and meatballs — and each one was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and absolutely delicious.
One of the highlights of the night was the personal touch in the service. A gentleman who I believe was the owner or general manager came to our table to personally open one of our bottles of wine. It’s those small, thoughtful gestures that make an evening truly memorable.
Considering this was their very first full night, we were blown away by how smooth everything felt — friendly service, incredible food, and a lively but comfortable vibe. Winetime has all the makings of a new local favorite, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Highly recommend...
Read moreWe just had the most wonderful time attending the Bottle Club VIP Preview of Wine Time Artisan Kitchen & Wine Bar in their new (and second) location off Buckwalter Parkway. It was the same neighborhood feeling you get when you walk into the original location in Old Town, but with more space, a fully expanded menu and, yes, ample parking! The warm greetings when directly into the smiles on the faces of everyone, owners, staff, and seemingly everyone seated and sipping and enjoying the variety of offerings on the menu. My wife and I shared the deviled eggs and whipped ricotta to start, and since that kinda filled us, we opted for two of their terrific flatbreads, the Margarita and the Ciccio. Both on point and both enjoyed again after we were so full we both took home more than half of each. We cannot wait until they are fully open and we can visit early and often!! Congrats to all on taking a great concept and making it...
Read moreThe food was excellent! The chef came to our table and talked to our table of eight. We ordered almost all the shareables, and all were terrific.
I would caution diners on the corkage fee. The menu includes wine by the glass. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine (half the group stuck with the great selection of beer). We were told by the server the price of the wine per bottle. We were not told about the corkage fee. We were surprised when our over $300 bill included a $15 charge for each bottle of wine.
The manager came to the table to "explain" the fee. I was not impressed with her tone or demeanor. Instead of understanding the issue and trying to right the situation, she quoted policy and stated there was nothing that she could do.
The food was great, and the location was gorgeous, but I will hesitate to return because of the management. Publish fees and show bottle prices...
