Smiley's Happy Place — Restaurant in Boardman

It's a homie comfortable atmosphere with great food, definitely more of a neighborhood hangout kind of tavern. There's a great jukebox that but it cost a lot of money to play , as all the newer jukeboxs seems to require 2 credits per song. As music lover I don't know why they had to increase of prices on their tunes ! It is not the jukejoints fault it is whoever supplies a bar with the jukeboxs. Great selection of songs and you can download them from your phone to the machine. They have one of the few good pool tables left in this area and 6 poker m machines. The highlight of this place is a beautiful outdoor garden which really shows a lot of love from the person that created it so thank you Miss Betty. I personally think they close too early. Lots of local beer on hand along with state of the art music jukebox, lottery games video, pool table, large screen TVs to watch your game, have your food at large tables all with a clear view of screens mentioned before, outside area to have a smoke or visit with friends or play horseshoes. Also staff is friendly ready to see to your wishes. The food is good lots of different types to choose from, daily lunch specials. Local folks that seem to like to make everyone at ease and show that Smiley's can be a Happy Place...

Bartender is also apparently the cook and spent more time in the back than working the bar. Granted it wasn't a busy night but image disappeared into the back for over 15 minutes without checking on the bar.

When she came out, she asked how I was doing and I said that I was done. Several minutes later, she came back by and I asked again for the check. Seems like they need a cook AND a bartender.
