As an avid Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza patron, I come to this location all the time and love the service, especially my favorite server Anne who always brings a warm smile, great energy, ad makes my day with her quick witty charm. Also I love the amazing manager Enzo who accommodates my every need and gives top tier service for other guests , but that’s being said …. lately the chain itself has seems to be going downhill ever since it got bought out by a corporation from Anthony’ Bruno. You can tell the ingredients are not what they used to be and as of recently, the past few days I tried to go in for lunch to eat but the AC was broken and it felt like 100° in the building making it unbearable to stay…. I watched customers come in both days I went in and immediately turn around …. You guys are loosing business beacuse of this among other things I’ve stated. I think it’s completely unacceptable and should be illegal for Anthony’s corporate, to allow their workers, especially with those hot ovens, to be working in such dire conditions. Anthony’s corporate or whoever owns it now needs to get their act together and save what was once an amazing franchise… also to note Dave Portnoy from barstool sports who rates Pizza around the country recently went to an Anthony’s location and gave it a terrible rating as the pizza was not well done like it should be and even stated what I am saying about how he heard himself the chain has went down hill ever since being bought out. Corporate needs to go back to the old ways of doing things and stop cutting cost and corners. It seems to be a recurring theme that coperate America destroys everything good it touches. Please get your act together. At this point I only keep returing for the amazing friendly service I receive and the bond I have created with the staff.
Sincerely, A loyal Anthony’s Coal Fired...
Read moreTonight was it. We like the pizza at Anthony's, and so I called to try and make reservations for my husband and two teenage boys knowing it was post-COVID and Labor Day weekend. No one answered, so we thought we would stop by. The place was nearly empty, which was expected due to capacity restrictions. You can never be too safe. However, when we said that we wanted to wait for a table inside, the hostess said that we could just come back in 10 to 15 minutes. We walked outside to wait, there was not anywhere to sit, and it dawned on me that she had not taken our names. I went back in and waited to ask to put our name on a list or for her to text us if the table was open. She said she couldn't text and they didn't have a list, but I could stand by the bar. I obeyed and stood by the bar and the boys remained outside. The girl asked me for my name, wrote it on a sticky note, and a man with dark hair came to the front, posted the sticky note on the computer screen, and barked, ”I need you to step outside.” It was like being scolded by a police officer. The hostess had just asked me to stand by the bar. I went outside, joined the boys, and we left and drove to Delray which is what I would suggest you do, too. The complete opposite experience. The service is always indifferent at best at Anthony’s in Boca. Tonight just confirmed it. They have had months and months to prepare for COVID, and while other local businesses have risen to the occasion with grace, they can't even make a waitlist at this one or determine a plan for a waiting area. That degree of disorganization and lack of preparation shows how they feel, and always have felt, about their...

On Friday 01/03/2025 I ordered a margarita pizza, buffalo wings, meatballs and a side salad.
The girl on the phone who took the order was extremely unpleasant. It was my first time ordering from ACFP and when I asked what wing flavors they had she said they don't have flavors it's just dry wings. I wanted to clarify that there were no sauces for the wings so I asked again, to which she replied, well we have buffalo sauce. After placing my order and reviewing the menu again to double check what she said was accurate (it wasn't), I would have much rathered the hot honey but apparently the person who answered the phone could care less about sharing the options the restaurant serves.
I arrive home and sit down to eat...
The pizza was ice cold. The cheese had become hard and instead of spreading out the basil, there was just a branch of basil leaves thrown in the corner of the box. First time I've ever thrown out left over pizza. I know I didn't take too long to pick up my order or to get home because the wings were piping hot, too hot to touch. Additionally the wings were so badly charred and burned it was the only flavor you could taste on them.
The meatballs were dry on the inside and honestly reminded me of eating Chef Boyardee when I was a kid. Just bland and basic.
The lettuce in the salad was wilting and looked as though they just threw together whatever "salad" ingredients they could find.
With all of the family owned pizza places in the neighborhood I'm not sure why I made the mistake of ordering from here, but...
