I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your restaurant. A few days ago, I ordered a croissant that was cold inside, suggesting that it had been frozen rather than freshly prepared. I also ate an omelette and, unfortunately, had a severe stomach ache later that evening. I am particularly concerned that your menu advertises homemade pastries, when my experience did not reflect this. The service was extremely slow, and the waitress was noticeably rude and condescending. This is unacceptable for any establishment claiming to offer quality service. In addition : I was disappointed to learn that tips left by customers do not go to the waiters, but rather to the owners a practice I find misleading and unfair to your staff. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend your establishment!

Cote France has a charming atmosphere within beautiful Royal Palm Place and an absolutely exquisite menu. This is a wonderful place to meet friends or just chill by yourself. Everyone was truly welcoming and exceptional. I started with probably the best iced mocha I have had outside Montreal. Brunch was a Paris Normandy, which was a ham and cheese like I have never had before. Imported ham and brie on a buttered and lightly toasted baguette. Savory, exquisite, and truly satisfying. This arrived with a perfect side salad made delightful by absolutely by far the best salad dressing I have ever had. This was likely the house dressing, made from a secret French recipe that makes me want to have salad every day! Absolutely wonderful experience, and I can not wait to visit Boca and Cote France in the near future...

Wowed by quality! We ordered a unicorn cake to share at school for a little girl's 6th birthday (as you know, unicorns are very popular with little ones those days). A small portion returned home and the grown-up were dazzled by their tasting bit. I was raised in France and I generally dislike a common approach in Boca Raton, saturated in sugar to hide the poor quality or ordinariness of the ingredients. This cake was anything but. A high-end chocolate (in mousse and cake), some perfect fondant and a beautiful decoration, not too sweet, but perfectly balanced. It is the kind of palate education I yearn for my daughter, and I hear it was very well received by all her peers. One teacher says it is her best cake from 15 years in Boca Raton. We could not agree more. The happy parents thank the Pastry Masters.

We've been coming here occasionally for easy Sunday afteroons cafe' delight relaxation for years, and service is always pretty good and most times, great. This past Sunday about 2:30 PM or so we sat inside and this young lady waitress came out of no where, I was finishing a text on my phone, so my wife began by ordering two expressos and before we can even open our mouth to utter the next word, she turnes away quickly and begins to walk away! ! So I said, excuse me... and we're like... we didn't finish the order! So what it the problem you might be wondering? Well you see, that was NOT the problem. She was super ungracious as she looked at me like I was bothering her! It's not like she said oh, excuse me, sure, what would you like?! She simply looked like she didn't want to be there. She knew I wasn't to happy on how she treated us, but she made no strides to try to rectify the situation...It was really disapointing and I think the management should know about it... We are locals, and we come toccasionally to Cote France to relax a bit after a long week of hard work, so mind you we don't need attitute from any spoiled staff, youg or old. Then she never came back (or sent anyone else) to see if we needed anything else. So I went to the cash register to try to pay for my bill, she just make believe she didn't see me. So I asked another lady, and she said, oh you have to give the card to whom ever took care of you. So our original waitress heard it and she jumped right in. Tipwise, I normally give 30% or higher gratuity because I know how how expensive things are and how hard you have to work these days. So I gave $2. for her efforts, I just could simply ignore the fact that she's working hard too...Then she gave me the receipt and said nothing. We walked out disapointed but it wouldn't deter me from coming back because we love the place. I won't let a spoiled apple to ruin the rest of my day. ll remove my review if your response is professional and...

We visited Cote France French Bakery on June 23, 2015 for supper at around 7:30 in the evening. My husband, granddaughter, and I were visiting from out of town, so we were relying on previous Google Reviews that gave it good rating. The only reason I am giving this restaurant two stars is because the pastries were good and the attendant was friendly and informative about our choices. My granddaughter had French Onion soup that was the worst I ever tasted (when she refused to eat it, I tried it--instead of a good, rich broth, it was watered down and tasteless). I had a tomato, basil, goat cheese sandwich on a French baguette. The baguette was so dry it must've been 3 days old, the tomato was so anemic it had no taste, and there was so little basil that it took 3 bites for me to find the basil! I also had a spinach and feta quiche that was so dry it was almost inedible--good thing I was hungry. Too much spinach and not enough quiche, and no seasoning--so the quiche was another disappointment. My husband was the only one who enjoyed his meal--but how can you mess up a simple house salad and a ham and cheese quiche? All I can say is--overrated restaurant. Either this was a really off night, or the previous Google reviewers were related to the owner. Either way--exercise caution and just order pastries. We had a fruit tart and a macaron; both...
