Earl of Sandwich — Restaurant in Boca Raton

I walked into this establishment. There was 2 employees standing there both on their phone I ordered my food the guy that was about to make my food went over and grabbed gloves without washing his hands I simply said to him Can you please wash your hands because you were just touching your phone and now you're touching the gloves that you're gonna use to make my food. He got really upset and said I'm exaggerating and threw the gloves down and went back to using his phone and refuse to make my food. All I asked was for him to wash his hand that is nasty How do you play on your phone A customer asks you to wash your hands because they don't want your dirty hands-on their food that you're touching the gloves the outside of the gloves that you're gonna use to make their food. This is by far the worst Earl of Sandwich location I’ve ever visited. It’s inside a gas station in Boca Raton and it’s disgustingly dirty… tables, floors, even the walls were grimy. It was messy and disorganized. Boxes and bins everywhere.

The staff was rude and unprofessional. I ordered a Holiday Turkey sandwich and a combo. The cashier confirmed the order, but only made one. When I politely pointed it out, she argued with me instead of fixing the issue. Another staff member had to step in.

Super solid sandwich. Over the last handful of years I've steadily become a sandwich fanatic. Always looking for the better and better hoagie. This place goes above and beyond. A coworker orders for his staff and myself, and I personally had the Tuna Melt with toasted bread. Absolutely incredible. Haven't visited the spot myself, but it may have to become a new location to hit. They do deliver, as they delivered to us today. With the effort and love they're putting into these sandwiches, it's no wonder they have almost all 5 star reviews across the board. You have a new fan in me!...
