Grill Place is a fantastic new restaurant in East Boca. When news of their opening reached a group chat I’m in, the first response was, “Another Israeli grill joint?!”
While I have a soft spot for Israeli grill restaurants, Grill Place is much more than that.
I just enjoyed a delicious chicken salad for $16. The food felt incredibly fresh and light—none of that greasy feeling you sometimes get from fast-food places. There’s a certain homely feel to the food; it’s clear they put a lot of love and care into their dishes while keeping things simple.
The menu includes the classic Israeli grill options alongside hummus bowls, salads, and a soup of the day. They also offer a variety of “to-go” foods that were more eclectic than I expected. I noticed onion lokshin kugel (the sample I tried was fantastic), two kinds of meatballs, potato kugel, garlic confit, and two types of soups, among other options.
I appreciated their clear labeling of when each item was prepared. My pet peeve is buying prepared food without knowing how fresh it is, so this was a thoughtful and welcome touch. I imagine the variety in their “to-go” section expands even more as Shabbat approaches.
I’m also excited to hear that they plan to start offering lamb shawarma on certain days in the next couple of weeks, once their new gas line is installed (in addition to the baby chicken shawarma they currently have.)
Overall, Grill Place is a fresh, affordable, and exciting addition to the kosher dining scene in Boca. Wishing them...
Read moreSimple, clean, well-lit eating area. Food was superb! It was my first time eating shawarma or any foods from Israel. It was so good, I would eat it every day, if I could! The service was even better!! The woman and the young boys who worked there took their time to explain everything to me that I was curious about. The only two things I knew on the menu were the hummus and the French fries. They were amongst the best I've ever had! The shawarma plate lasted me three meals, btw. There's so much food! My favorite part of the meal was the "Israeli salsa." Anyway, I live about 3 hrs north of Boca Raton, so idk when I'll be able to visit again. But guaranteed, if I'm in the area, I'll be stopping at Grill...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely blown away by this new grill spot-the falafel was the freshest and best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and not the least bit greasy. But what really sealed the deal? The pita and hummus. The pita was pillowy and warm, and the hummus was so creamy and rich it could be the star of the menu on its own. This place is a standout- no frills, just incredibly good food. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates real,...
