Orion Fresh Mediterranean — Restaurant in Boca Raton

BEWARE if you are ordering from delivery apps. Their quality has gone downhill, they will get your order wrong, Uber will refuse to refund you, and the staff doesn't care when you call about it. They put you on hold, act obtuse, or tell you to just complain to Uber about it even though the food quality problem is on their end. Well yeah, it's Uber's responsibility to refund but when their Customer Support doesn't care either, you're left with nothing. One of their workers put in really salty, bitter, stale and cold lamb meat instead of Medi Chicken for the protein, and the bowl was terrible quality overall. If you're used to pre-rating your orders from this restaurant 5 stars because of good experience in-person or through Uber, don't make the mistake I did and do that because once you open things up, you can't change the star rating when the food looks and tastes awful, and somebody can't follow order instructions right. The specifics are laid all out there on the order on the Eats tablet, I'd be willing to let a mistake slide if it wasn't this blatant and they ignore the fact some customers can't eat red meat....

Where should I start. Watching the staff behind the line was painful. I don't know if they were new staff or just careless untrained teenagers trying to wing it! They really had no idea how to work together. One thing they all had in common was yelling out to the back line to get something they needed. That alone ruined any peace at dinner.

1. It took 20 minutes for all four of us to get our food.
2. Zucchinis were not cooked thru.
3. They put chicken in my kids gyro pita! She hated the taste of fatty chicken, was disappointed, & ate fries only.
4. They put the watery lintel right next to the rice, then on top of the lintel they put all the vegetables requested so it became a hell of a mix which my wife did not eat. she just picked up the falafels and ate them and the rest of the food went to garbage.
5. I ordered the Big Bowl (which was the same size as the middle size Bowl), shredded lamb was tasty but the chicken pieces were dried out.
6. $3.75 cup of fountain lemonade was flat. No refill option...
7. not a very clean place. I would never go back nor would I ever recommend...

Like, wow, seriously! I travel the entire state of Florida as the preferred contractor for IQAir, a Swiss company, and install the world's finest medical HEPA air filtration systems for homes and all other environments where people need the cleanest air IAQ you can get. So after a long day that ran very late, we always eat and want to get fantastic healthy food. That night, I was craving a gyro, and the wife was totally down, but it was almost 10pm. Well, let me tell you, Orion Fresh Mediterranean is hands down the best gyro we've ever had! Open till 2am, outdoor seating, an awesome staff and fresh I'm saying fresh healthy food!! They offer many other dishes and items, and you get to pick the toppings while they make it in front of you. A must go to for anyone. We're going for sure. Sorry, I don't have better pictures, but I will have more very soon, and you all will be able to follow us on our trips around Florida with many hotels, food, parks, places to go that are safe and chill and even the best fishing spots.
