It is a great location, being close to I-95 and my favorite Asian market.
This restaurant is purely based on the chefs skill with all else being optimized around it. I have seen them transform from an small dinning area, to a restaurant with decor and proper seats. The only thing that has never changed is the quality of product. I can only speak highly of the owners of the restaurant, a very nice couple, whom work hard and spend almost everyday running their business. I sometimes feel bad as they will offer free dishes, this is unacceptable as they should be payed for their work.
The sushi is very fresh and prepared in a sushi bar visible from the dinning area. The portions have gotten bigger, and I have only seen the quality improve. Strangely enough the prices remain the same, making it uneconomic to choose any other Japanese restaurant. So I only eat sushi here to get the most out of my dollar. I heavily recommend the Lisa Crunch Roll.

Read moreThis place is definitely worth a stop. I dropped in when I had 20 minutes to kill before picking up takeout from a nearby Indian restaurant. I should’ve gotten my entire meal from here instead. Had a couple pieces of white tuna and they did it up special even though it was simple sushi and it was amazing. It was so good I picked up an extra two pieces to take home to my wife so she could have the experience. BTW: Wasabi was HOT 😳 but good 😋.
Sidenote: for some reason the Indian food was bad tonight so thank God I got my wife the sushi!!!
UPDATE: today is Monday, January 28, 2019. My wife said don’t ever get sushi on a Monday, it’s all going to be left over from the weekend.
Well I’m here to dispel that myth. Just got a ton of sushi tonight and it was amazing. The Hawaiian roll was fantastic, The white tuna was delicious, we added an order of fatty salmon which I’ve never had before and it was the best salmon I’ve ever tried. Do not miss the opportunity to try this sushi, you will not...
Read moreWhile I typically don’t judge a book by its cover, (if you see this place in person, you’ll understand) in this case, the judgement fits. We had several rolls and the fish itself was dry and rather tasteless. The rolls which were supposed to have a tempura crunch or spicy tuna were instead filled with this strange crunchless, dry substance. Hard to describe really other than not good. Can’t say I would return back to try again.
**In response to the owner....fish should have its own flavor, aside from what sauce is put on the roll. Yes, you provided sauce on the side as not everyone eating wanted it, which we appreciate. This aside, whatever was put I the rolls that is to be considered crunch or spicy tuna was anything but. Maybe it was just a off day, but this was just my experience I had which is all I am sharing. If this is not the norm than it would be otherwise...
