Me and my co workers went there for our lunch break. It was my first time going there and will be my last. First thing first I called to ordered and I ask about the lunch specials, she rudely suggested that I go online and see the menu. But if I am calling to ask she should be able to tell me and plus I went online and the menu was hard to read which is why I even called in the first place. So as we get there to get our food, this lady was just even rude in person. Don't get me wrong I wont ever take away credit from the food, but the customer service was very very poor. For someone like me who never been there before should have felt more welcome and want to be able to come back.. Ugh I am so disappointed. Because the fact I had waste a few minutes of my time while I am working to express how I feel, but it should be known. They don't even deserve the 1 star. And the food was okay but it ashamed how poor customer service could take away the credit from the food. When it should be about the food right! I will never ever come back again and the Soda was Champaign Soda was $3.25, but at any other place it would be $1.25. I guess the location is why the price is still iffy. I'm in Boca Raton for a conference, so myself and four other conference attendees decided to eat here for lunch due to the authentic Jaimaican cuisine described on the website. We just knew we were in for a treat. We all ordered small lunch items that we thought wouldn't take a while to cook since we were short on time and had to get back to the conference. How wrong we were. It took over 20 minutes for our food to come which didnt come out together. Two of us were finished eating before the other 3 lunches came out. Two of our orders were wrong, but we didnt have time to send it back because we were already pressed for time. Another table came in after us and received their food before we did. No apologies or explanation as to why our food came out late and having two of the orders wrong. Really terrible service. Their were mixed reviews within our group on the food from "bland" to "ok" to "good". Mine was ok, the steamed veggies and the peas and rice were bland, and the chicken although well seasoned, was chewy. If I'm ever in Boca Raton again, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
