My friends and I dined at The Flamingo Grill in Boca Raton and were profoundly disappointed by an incident that quickly overshadowed what should have been a pleasant evening. During our meal, a man (club member) seated nearby began loudly and repetitively harassing a couple, insisting with a tone of entitlement that he could sue everyone and is personal friends with the owner! He continued with threatening, predatory rhetoric, effectively turning the dining room into his personal stage. This behavior was not only inappropriate but disruptive to everyone around us.

The response from management was lacking. The on-site manager, whom I observed with dark slicked-back hair, did not intervene to de-escalate the situation or address the affected party. There was no visible effort to restore a sense of safety or to apologize to the patrons subjected to the ongoing outburst. The absence of action left the impression that this type of conduct is tolerated, which is unacceptable in a restaurant that should prioritize guest well-being and a harassment-free dining environment.

Because the disturbance persisted and the atmosphere deteriorated so rapidly, my party decided to settle our bill and leave and other's did so, too!. The quality of the food or service cannot redeem the evening when a disruptive incident of this nature dominates the experience and the establishment fails to respond appropriately.

If The Flamingo Grill aims to uphold a welcoming and respectful dining environment, I would recommend they implement clear harassment policies, train staff in de-escalation techniques, and ensure that managers are prepared to address such situations promptly and with empathy for affected guests. Customer safety and comfort should be a minimum standard, not an afterthought. The individual responsible for soiling our esteemed gathering with such vulgarity and uncouth behavior should have his...

Our reservation was for 7:30, we were seated at 8:15. We waited 10 minutes for a menu, told Scott the waiter how hungry we were, and had to call him over to take our order 15 minutes later. One of two ordered cocktails arrived, had to reorder the second from a busboy. Iced tea never arrived until we asked again when Scott served the appetizers at nearly 9 PM. He then brought two for the one person who ordered it, as if to say that she was being difficult. Two snow crab claws at $55 each arrived on a mound of ice so high that pieces fell onto the table as I tried to eat them; no extra bowl for the shells (a most basic part of serving shellfish); the meat was so stuck onto the shells, I had to scrape thready shreds out, and there was a total of perhaps 3 small mouthfuls of meat between the two. Not once did we act unpleasantly toward the wait staff, so we didn't deserve such treatment (though if we had, it should not have affected the quality of service in such a supposedly upscale restaurant). I'm truly not a complainer about restaurants, but I haven't had service this awful in years, and never at these prices. And the others at the table said the same. We ate on the terrace, because it was so noisy and freezing cold inside; there was no decor out there- no plants and no tablecloths on unused tables, and we had to ask that our candle be lit. The bill for 4 was $800, and it included an automatic 20% tip despite the horrific service. I was embarrassed to have been the one who chose this place for our special dinner.

Finally, as a courtesy I left this review with the restaurant. When I didn't get any response in one week, I included it in my review of our stay at The Boca Raton, where this restaurant is located. I never got any response about this...

Fiirst of all the food and service is very good. We were extremely upset at arrival. We headed to the open bar prior to our Valentine's Day celebration, with a maître d' and were abruptly accosted by Steven who informed us the bar was off limits due to a private party. This guy was in my face (oh but wore a mask). Well we were at the entrance door with some of the people allowed in and they weren't with a private party. As we waited outside for our dinner rervation time, others were allowed into the bar area for a pre-dinner cocktails. We spoke with them an knew they were not with any private party. Needless to say Steven put a real damper at the beginnning of our evening. The true shame is such behavior detracts from the flawless professionalism and decorum of ALL staff throughout the Boca Raton resort. That said, Michael A. and Jenni provided exemplary service. We had a couple of shrimp coctails, filet mignon and the salmon with sides. All food was very very good and it was the best steak I've had. Kevin, who saw our rough start came by to check on us and did Stephan. Please know this team of people brought us around to enjoying a wonderful celebration on our last day at this resort. Thank YOU to them for their...

Our kids and grandsons were staying at the The Boca Raton Resort and picked the Flamingo Grill for dinner. A throw back to a 1960's Steakhouse, very attractive setting. Typical Steakhouse restaurant with very high prices and a very nice but pricey wine list. As usual ,excellent and attentive service. The restaurant is part of the Major Food Group restaurants from New York that operates all the restaurants at the resort. I started with a very good TUNA CRUDO, sliced Cucumber, Green Onion, and Caper Salsa. My ordered the soup du jour, Potato Leek Soup, also very good. For mains, I tried the 20 oz, PRIME BONE-IN RIBEYE available simply grilled or blackened. Very good but expensive at $78. My wife opted for the CLASSIC CRAB CAKE, served with a pickled mustard Remoulade, she thought it was good. The best value was dessert, a Banana Split , a whole production with them flaming it and it was only $ 15. For their prices, there are better steakhouses in the area.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day here. Really busy with long wait times (as to be expected), but not a problem if you enjoy your company. The staff was friendly and sympathetic (although no need to be). We had a cocktail at the outdoor bar while we waited. It was absolutely gorgeous and the cocktails were delicious. Once we were seated, service was fabulous. The whole team pitched in to make sure we had a great night. Food was incredible as you would expect from any Major Food Group restaurant. Nothing bad to say. Great place for dinner.
