Lost Oak Cellars — Restaurant in Boerne

My boyfriend and I came in for a glass of wine, enjoyed beautiful Christmas music but upon leaving, charged for three wines??????? At this point I have not got a response from the owner, as did the positive reviews!

I've resided in Boerne for 18 years. Love this town! When a new restaurant/venue/winery opens, I want to check it out. Last week I popped into Lost Oak Cellars and the person working there didn't give me the time of day. I wasn't there for a glass of wine, I was there to see what kind of atmosphere it had, what kind of food it offered, etc. It wasn't busy as it was in the afternoon so that wasn't an excuse. I asked some questions and was given short answers as she went back to looking at her computer. My husband and I owned a B&B here in Boerne for 13 years. If I treated a potential guest that way I wouldn't have stayed...

Stephanie was so rude. We walked in and she was making faces at us before we even walked up to her. We walk up to her and she she confirms it our first time there and throws the menu down on the counter and says “you can read it.” We try to ask her to tell us a little bit more about what they’re about or if they have a winery or how stuff works here and she mutters something or other over her shoulder about how they’re affiliated as a tasting place for a winery while still making faces and actively walking away from us.
