For reference, I was only engaged a week when I started dress shopping because we were planning for a wedding in 6-7 months.
I went to two bridal stores and made several calls to bridal shops and felt very frustrated, stressed, and worried. Several of the bridal shops told me my dress would not even arrive in time so don't bother coming and another shop told me if I didn't book my venue and date they said they couldn't see me. I found Fiancee Bridal Boutique Boerne on Google Maps. I booked my appointment online, and they answered me very quickly and tried to get to know what I was looking for before I even came into the store. I walked into this beautiful store. I felt at ease and at home. The store manager, I believe her name was Lacy, was so helpful. She looked at my pictures, my proposal, asked me about my story and what I was looking for. My sister, my 8 week old nephew, and mother were on the way and she said we won't try any dresses on until they get here so I could enjoy my moment with them. She had great hospitality, she grabbed waters for us and checked if the baby needed anything. Every dress we tried on, she always checked in with me to find my opinion and needs. When we finally found the dress, I got to press the button that played the music, had some celebratory champagne, and took photos with their sign.
She was very easy to talk to, informative, and very open to everything with no judgement. She gave me the great news that my dress would be arriving early so I can't wait to go back and see it. I highly recommend them. They have great customer service, very friendly, and they make you feel part of their family. They want you to be happy at the end of the day with your purchase, no matter the...
Read moreWhen a woman becomes a fiancé, she starts imagining that special day when she will choose the perfect dress that will showcase her beauty to her future husband. Imagine, that day, preparing to go dress shopping with people who love you. You're excited and so happy. You actually had several phone conversations with the owner of the boutique, who made you feel special with her assurances that your day would be very memorable. My future daughter in law walked in, followed by her Aunt, her best friend and myself. The bride to be was not greeted in any way by the owner she had been communicating with. She had to introduce herself. The owner NEVER spoke to her while we were there. Her assistant brought out six dresses. When the next group of women came in, the owner was openly friendly with them, seeming to be more comfortable speaking with them, rather than our group. Until that blonde group of women walked in, I just felt that the owner was rude, lazy, and didn't really feel like helping us. I thought it was so sad for my son's future wife that this special day had turned into what it did. You see, this wonderful woman, of hispanic origin, who is month's shy of becoming a doctor, and the other two gorgeous latinas who were with us felt her racial bias toward them before I did. Again, I just thought she was being rude, because I really didn't realize we were being scrutinized in that way. Looking back on the day we can never get back, I'd have to say, to any fiancé looking for that special day, to go elsewhere. If a business owner, in today's culture, has racial biases, then she should not be...
Read moreMe and my crew (my mom and my best friend/maid of honor) came in not expecting to find the one. It was our last appointment of the weekend, and we had already found a dress I loved at our first place. Each place afterwards just didn’t quite hit the mark. But when I told Taylor the general aesthetics I was looking for (with no pictures!) she pulled amazing dresses that stunned me one after one. Taylor was amazing and picking up what I was loving, what I was interested in, what made me feel confident, and picked some fun things as well to refresh my eyes. The first one she put me in though, stuck with me the whole time. Taylor was incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive which made for a fun expierence and helped me not feel nervous. I had my fair share of sale hungry dress appointments that made me feel anxious, but here I felt like a person, not a sale. I highly recommend this place, it’s a gem. The boutique is open and airy with wonderful lighting so I didn’t feel like I was struggling to see myself in tiny mirrors. I seriously seriously recommend this place for future brides, because even if you don’t find your dress here, the store and people here are so helpful and kind that you’re sure to be leaving with AT LEAST some direction. Thank you Taylor for being amazing, and thank you for helping me...
