Edit-I have to change my review to one star after further consideration because I realized I paid 32.00 for a few slices of small steak, a few pieces of small chicken and 8-10 shrimp...a spoon full of rice and a bunch of soggy grilled green peppers. I ordered an $8.00 bowl of chilli and Caesar salad as well, but didn't even get the chilli.. I'll expand on all of this.
I did carside to go. They didn't include my chilli I ordered as a side with Caesar salad which costs 8.00. This erks me because I ordered from chillis initially because I had a craving specifically for chilli, I don't live close by (by the airport) so had to drive to Broadway, almost downtown, then to get home and see I had no chilli I waited and paid a lot for. The salad was bunk... Even with having low standards, not even close to being worth the 8$ I paid. I arrived ten minutes after the recemended pick up time and STILL waited another ten minutes. This was approx 8:15.pm Food was kinda cold, but it's fine taste wise. I ordered the triple meat fajitas (chicken steak and shrimp) but got none of the sides I was supposed to like sour cream and whatnot. I got a bowl of black beans... That's it. The steak was came with it was really really chewy and fatty, some of it I just spit out after chewing for a couple minutes with no success of breaking it down ... I'm just dissapointed over all, I should have checked before I left so it's my fault. Still, it's be nice to not have to check. I gave 3 stars, then 2, but now just 1 star because it's a total disappointment. I wish I didn't leave a tip. Whoever put my order together and brought it to me didn't deserve it.
The main reason for changing my review is because here I am a few hours later and I'm hungry and I realized I spent 32 dollars and didn't get what I ordered. What I did get was lack luster, inadequate quantity, and just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe last time I had this horrible of an experience at a Chiliās restaurant,I said I would never go back. It took me 15 years to walk back into one of your establishments. Thank goodness the food was decent because the service is lacking in more ways than one. If it were busy, I could understand. But it wasnāt. The gentleman that brought my salad out was visibly annoyed when I let him know my salad should be without cheese. I overlooked it. Our appetizer came with one plate for two people. I overlooked it. The entrees came quite some time later. After our initial contact with the server she came by once more before the entrees and at that time we ordered another drink from the bar. Needless to say, we never got the drink. My husband choked down what food he did and I went over to the bar to let them know I needed our check and that last beer taken off our bill that had been sitting there undelivered for some time. We finally got our bill and the boxes I had requested from a different employee. The server we started with appeared with the beer I already stated we no longer wanted. I repeated that information once again and asked for the ticket a second time. I eventually gave my form of payment with no itemized receipt. I was tired of waiting. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but if that were the case, one would think a coworker or even the bartender would have brought our drinks over after they had sat there. Needless to say, I ended up having to help myself to the servers station to get the remaining items I needed to take my dinner home. Absolutely inexcusable. I can say that because I have spent 15 years in the industry. No service at all would have been better than the service I received. Safe to say, it will be more than 15 years before I ever attempt dining at a Chilis...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience in a while. Long story: The food was great and our server was OK. We were going to a concert and the email I got about it advertised a 10% discount. At first, the server said they didn't give discounts (discomfort #1). I showed her the add and she had to take my phone (discomfort #2) to the back office to show the manager. The manager relented and all was well, until it came time to pay. We used the Kiosk on our table to pay the bill, and the discount had not been applied (discomfort #3). After long minutes (and show time approaching) of our server not making eye contact, I flagged her down. She apologized, mumbled something about the manager not taking care of it, said she'd take care of it, and went to the back office again. She never came back to our table (discomfort #4). The back button on the kiosk didn't appear to work (discomfort #5), but after several minutes, I decided to get forceful with it, and it finally backed out and refreshed to a total that included the discount. The discount was only $5 and nowhere near the trouble it took to actually get it (discomfort #6). I would rather have had no discount at all and not put up with the grief. If somebody had returned to our table, I could have asked them how to refresh the kiosk. We still tipped our server 20% of the pre-discount total. Worst experience I've had in quite a while. Chili's, Don't offer discounts if you're going to make it extremely difficult to actually get one. If the dining experience was just about food, it would have been fine, but that's rarely the case....
