I had placed an order through Uber-Eats. Details of the exact order * Not displayed or provided by customer.
The Uber delivery experience was commendable, and we had no issue with the driver or the timing of the delivery.
Unfortunately I had to experience an incredibly troubling incident regarding the findings of AND in my food. Upon opening the food I had discovered a sanitizing wipe used for sterilizing a food temperature device.
Other findings include, but not limited to ; Hair which was found and located in and around the area of the “ lettuce “ which was used on the intended consumable item.
The food was found to be cold to touch and had 0 sense of warm temps. In regards to the findings me and my family were unable to consume the products provided by Wendy’s.
I had called to submit a complaint, with the acknowledgment of ordering through a 3rd party delivery service. The recipient of the call is known as “ Pili “ ( Manager On Duty ). “ Pili “ had assured me that she was responsible for the building and preparations of the ordered meal(s). With high disrespect “ Pili “ had argued with me ( Said paying customer ) about the negative possibility of me positively finding unethical foreign objects within the food.
As of today ( Sunday, August 24th 2025 ) I contacted the merchant again to speak with the manager whom was presumably different ( as they were ). I was treated with utmost respect and her condolences were greatly appreciated. I accept the outcome as it is to this current moment. I was refunded my full amount through “ Uber-Eats “. Read moreI just don't get places and their thought process. We were out for a bike ride. One of the bikes broke and we went to Wendy's to get a frosty and wait for our ride. It was 100+ degrees outside. We pull up and the door says "sorry the inside is closed die to staffing shortages" Hmm okay let's go through the drive thru!! 4 employees were hanging out the drive-thru window looking at us. One gets on the speaker and says "you can't be on bikes through the drive-thru!!" I said "well we can't come in and order?" A girl says "we can take your order but you'll have to go to the door to get it". No problem! She was incredibly nice. We order some drinks and get to the window. The same dude that tells us we can't order in bikes says "you do understand why we have this policy right? You can't just stand in the middle of the street!" I say "what were we supposed to do since the inside is closed due to staffing? Go somewhere else?" He says "YEP!" Ok, I get there are staffing issues everywhere. I don't get the lack of customer service!! We weren't in the way. There was no one else in the drive thru. Annnnd it was 100 degrees! Get it together Wendy's. Read moreWent about 6:45 pm and the dining room is closed. Had to go through drive thru. Their reader board with everything on it is out so there isn't really a good way to see everything on it. When asked about it. Got told "yea it's out." Made it through that. Got to the window and paid. While sitting there for over 10 minutes i watch 3 workers chatting it up and touching their hair and then touching food. Had to ask for a receipt as it wasn't offered to me freely. Started to leave and decided to check food as i noticed our fries where nuke warm. They have a sign saying if not hot they will replace. Two of our sandwiches where messed up so had to sit back through the drive thru to get it correct and they still had a problem getting it right. Yes they added a fry and 4 extra small frosties. It's the point that we shouldn't have to spend more time extra time and gas that isn't cheap right now to get an order right. Please do better for your customers.
