Wendy's — Restaurant in Bolingbrook

I've been visiting this Wendy's several times a month now for two years and have always been very pleased with the staff and the product quality. I mean, we are talking about a fast food restaurant, so I'm not rating them by comparing against a sit down restaurant such as Olive Garden or Red Lobster (both in the same parking lot).

Compared against other Wendy's in both Illinois and Indiana, I would say this location is better in food, service, cleanliness, restaurant layout, and overall enjoyment, than all of the others I've been to with the exception of the location in Naperville on Naperville-Plainfield and 75th street, where that location has a slight edge due to having the modernized restaurant layout compared to this locations classic layout. The food at the Naperville location wasn't better. Just the restaurant layout. Compare also against the location on Rt 53 and Remmington, which is always dirty and consistently messes up orders, I'd prefer this location every single time even with my slightly longer drive to get here.

I'm rating this Wendies as 5 stars for consistently delivering exactly what I asked for, no muss, no fuss. So far no mistakes in my order, no problems with under or overcooked food, no issues with the staff or restaurant cleanliness, and overall just...

I went in Sunday at 2:30 pm to get a few chili's for a dinner party. I costumer was in front of me for 10 min, I thought he was waiting for his food, a very young worker working the window, and a girl in the back working with the food.Finally the young worker took his order. Looked at me but went back to work the window. After a few more min I asked him " is it going to take much longer?" He responded " oh you want to order ?" I felt like saying "No,I just wanted to get away from the cold", but I said "of course ". I said I want 7 chilies". He said "that's going to take a wail". I said "well, how many do yo have ?" He said "we have the 7 but it takes a long time to put everything together". At this point I felt like I was in a hidden cámara prank show like impractical jokers. I could see he just didn't want to do it, and the drive thru line had only 3 or 4 cars. After 20 min I walked out with no chili. I'm so surprised at management that after all the similar reviews and after a pandemic they have no interest in changing things. I can’t review the food… I never got it. I...

I come here all the time. Never had a problem. The only thing it's missing is an upgrade to the beverage machine like the one in Downers Grove on 75th st. I wish Wendy's would put some money into it. I would go there more if it was upgraded. Edit: I spoke too soon. Just went through the drive thru and asked for an asiago ranch chicken club with extra lettuce and tomato. One slice of tomato was on the sandwich. It usually comes with two but I ask for extra and they give me one? Very little lettuce, also. No receipt, too. I know these are small things but that's just it. These are small things that should've been easily taken care of. One more mess up and I'll cut off this Wendy's. I'm very stubborn and I will drive out of my way or go somewhere I might not want to go to just to not go someplace I know I don't want to go to.
