Wow. Unbelievably bad. I didn't think it was possible to have bad Italian. Where to start... How about with the woman at the restaurant who gave us our food. When asked to change dressing for a side salad from house to ranch she OPENED THE CONTAINER AND PULLED THE DRESSING OUT WITH HER FINGERS. Amazing. The meatballs are filled with hard bits (ew) and the meat tastes funky, but in fairness, I'm not too much of a meat fan anyway. But they taste... Hormonal? Or gamey? Can't describe the strange meat taste precisely because I couldn't even get one bite down. The sauce that covers them is bland. Tastes like they just opened a can of plain tomatoes and threw them in the blender to become smooth. No flavor. Not even salt. God forbid they use some basil or parsley! For an Italian restaurant to have bad sauce is just confusing to me. The pene in vodka sauce was troubling. First, the pene was so overcooked you can't even spear a whole noodle, it falls apart. Turns to glue in the mouth. No concept of Al dente. The "vodka" sauce is just cream sauce with a splash of their tasteless red sauce. It's NOT vodka sauce, it's not even blush sauce. It's CREAM sauce. Also no flavor. My mother's carbonara is "ok". So I guess no complaints there. The garlic bread is not garlic bread at all. Garlic bread is not supposed to be covered in cheese, it's just supposed to be garlic and butter, maybe parsley. It's sitting in an inch of grease in the container and is soggy. Oh yeah, almost forgot, no flavor! No surprise there. All in all I'm so disappointed with the whole experience from a-z. Couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone with tastebuds. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving such inedible garbage. I had better food in the military and that's...
Read moreI was very pleasantly surprised at our experience here! First off our tea was brewed and not a powdered mix. Very good. The bread they brought out to the table was nice and crusty on the outside and pillows soft on the inside. The bread was really good. We also ordered their cheesy bread which comes with a marinara dipping sauce. Very simple but really good. Would definitely order it again. My meal came with a Caesar salad. Now a salad is a salad - but nope, you'd be wrong in thinking that. Normally restaurant salads can be lacking but this was truly the best Caesar salad I ever had. It was fresh and the dressing WOW, was awesome. Not a leaf was dry but none of it was saturated, but perfectly distributed AND it was the tastiest dressing I've ever had. I could have stopped there and been content. I had the manicotti which was very good. We also had a pizza which my husband who loves his pizza declared it as awesome. The owner I assume greeted us and was very friendly and our waitress always had a smile on her face, was very pleasant, and we had great service. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely go back. You'd be missing out if you didn't give this...
Read moreWow! Not very often I am this impressed with 7 of us eating at one place. Upon entry the hostess was friendly and they had our table ready for our 7pm reservation. Upon being seated, small bread loaves were delivered (with the butter tucked underneath—pro move). We ordered calamari and garlic toast (a must order). Flavors are balanced, food comes out fresh and hot, straight from the customer view kitchen. We all ordered something different, from seafood pasta to “plain” Alfredo (my picky teenager), but the winner (although all pasta still got 5 stars) was the pizza I ordered. Philly pizza, I smelled the pizza upon entry and was sold, and then I saw them tossing dough and I couldn’t resist. Pretty sure everyone at my table was jealous. Fresh made dough, hand tossed, ingredients couldn’t be more fresh, I just can’t say enough. Service was friendly, attentive, and fun. Wine by the glass or bottle, poured us trouble maker and it was fantastic. Side note—I didn’t get a photo of the dessert, but the tiramisu was amazing as well. Thanks for a...
