I came in for the first time , The Cashier Nevaeh was so helpful it was my first time in and she welcomed me and had a beautiful smile helped me figure out what I’d like to eat and try. But as I was sitting down eating my food which was delicious her manager was yelling at her in front of all of us I was so embarrassed for her I don’t understand how the manager thought that was professional or appropriate and the other manger on Duty, which I think she was a manager, just stood there She didn’t stick up for Nevaeh and I Almost said something, but I didn’t wanna cause a bigger scene than what was already being caused by the manager so I decided to leave a review when I go back in there I’m gonna give nevaeh the tip money. I tried to give her before and she denied it because she said they are not allowed to accept tips, which is Something I found so stupid she deserved my tip and I should be able to tip whoever I want as a paying customer, smh This is One place I won’t tell my teenagers to go apply at because I’d be damned if any grown woman or man yelled at my teenager the way that manager yelled at her. She spoke very broken English and was spitting as she was yelling just so embarrassing and nasty I should have said something. Read moreThis is my third time eating CAVA in the past two months. Quality of food phenomenal. I haven’t been inside but wife tells me it’s immaculate.
I write this as an advice piece to the establishment. Cava is lacking consistency, this is in the form of service,inconsistency's in portions and how an item is built.
This is my third steak gyro. First was beefy, ingredients balanced through out the gyro. Second balanced but less items inside and this third one was like the items were plopped down any where, not spread across for each bite to fill your mouth with the flavors and even more less items inside.
Also the SOS size always differ from a medium plastic cup to a small. For the price, the portion needs to be established.
Love the place overall, just looking for consistency...
Read moreI saw a comment that Andre posted about inconsistency in the food and I don’t think that is entirely on the people that work there I think the problem is more on the people ordering. Let me explain: I went there 2 times during lunch time and the line was damn near out the door both times. You have soo many people ordering custom bowls, asking 1000 questions about what stuff is, is it spicy, is it good, what’s in it, etc…people don’t read or look at anything. Should the workers be consistent on every portion, bowl and pita? Yes but when. You have big lines like that I’m sure the workers are trying to filter through the people as fast as they can and that’s going to cause lacking in consistency. Overall it was alright...
