Beware of credit card scamming here! Prices have gone way up and food quality down, service down. This used to be a reliable and cozy sushi and thai place. No more. $17 for a small sized poke bowl full of rice, edamame, and little fish. $80 for lunch for 2, nothing luxurious nor amazing. They were out of tuna at lunch and asked if they could substitute white tuna...sure, but what sushi bar runs out of tuna? There were 3 tables with people, nobody at the sushi bar, and food still took over 30 mins to arrive. The worst aspect is that I used a credit card to pay that I hadn't used at a restaurant in months because it was at the back of my wallet, and 2 days later my bank card notified me the card was fraudulently used to attempt to purchase over $1000 of merchandise, I noticed there were 4 different wait staff either filling water, bringing appetizers or sushi, etc and the "main guy" was busy interviewing new staff as well as took my order and attending to customers. All the previous FRIENDLY staff from prior visits are gone. The water-filling waitress took my payment instead of the main waiter. I've filed a police report and the banks must know something is up, Fuji was the only transaction that fits the scamming profile...it's always gas stations and restaurants. Deeply disappointed and I will...

We’re retired and in Naples for the first time this winter. We normally stay in Key West. We love sushi and between our group have eaten sushi all over the world which is to say we’ve had very, very good sushi. After searching the ratings of all sushi restaurants in Naples, we selected Fuji Sushi because it had the best ratings. We base on restaurant experiences are three things: -Service -Presentation -Food (taste, creativity, freshness). The service here was extremely slow. We’re retired and don’t mind slow service but this service was really, really slow. Our waitress was pleasant but clearly had way too many tables to cover. Presentation. Our meals were served on little wooden boats. The type of sushi boat you sometimes see at restaurants where boats float around inside the tables. Not very pretty, nor was the food arranged attractively inside the boats. Food. Bad. The tamago was frozen, the fish was not very fresh, the rolls were packed too tightly and the taste was generally not good. Our total group bill was $260 so we had an opportunity to sample many types of Fuji sushi. If this is one of the top rated restaurants, we may not eat sushi again while in Naples...

I would like this to be a lesson to your waitstaff. We ordered a bottle of sake. She brought 2 glasses instead. Before she set the glasses down, I said we wanted a bottle. She acknowledged us but still set the glasses down. I assumed she would just bring the rest of the bottle. So we started drinking. She comes back and announces she can’t void the $18 glasses of sake and asked us if we still wanted the bottle. We did- but didn’t want to pay for the expensive glasses as well. We commented that we should not pay for her mistake and she told us - we didn’t say bottle. I definitely said bottle and not ā€œ2 glasses.ā€ We didn’t want conflict so let it go. Having left the restaurant paying almost $80 in sake - I felt like I did a disservice by not having a teaching moment or asking for the manager. We didn’t order 2 glasses but the price of 2 glasses was almost the price of a bottle. This is why I ordered a bottle. Why did she set the glasses down after we indicated we wanted a bottle and leave. She was very rude by telling me we didn’t not ask for a bottle- when we did.

We will not be going back. Thank you for allowing...

Please keep in mind when you read my posts I moved to Naples from Austin. TX. One of THE BEST cities to live in for INCREDIBLE food. That's about it though šŸ˜‚. I'm realizing a lot of people in Naples either have horrifically undeveloped palates, or simply havent REALLY GOOD food of any kind lol...ever haha! Anyway...we ordered the Sushi Nachos, Spicy Tuna, Hamachi-Pena, Spider Roll and some "Mongolian Beef". The sushi nachos were pretty good, probably one of the highlights of the meal. The spicy tuna, well, wasnt spicy at all. Had a sweet kimchi sauce on it too, which was good, but not what I'm used to on a Spicy Tuna roll. Hamachi-Pena was ok. Just kind of dull. We did however like you the spider roll, probably one of the better ones we've had here in Naples. The "Mongolian Beef" was an epic fail. If you've had authentic Mongolian Beef youd know. Hell, you can get better Mongolian Beef at P.F. Changs šŸ˜. If you want excellent sushi in Naples, try Komoon! The food was however very nicely presented and looked very "pretty". Unfortunately, the taste just didnt match aesthetics.

While looking for Asian food, we stumbled upon Fuji at Founders Square almost by mistake—but wow, what a fantastic mistake it was! This spot specializes in Japanese and Thai cuisine, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The place is spotless, and the hostess and servers were incredibly attentive. Our party of three ordered two types of sushi—Godzilla and Yellow Dragon—along with two entrĆ©e platters: Mongolian Beef and Chicken Teriyaki. It was, without a doubt, the best Asian food I’ve ever had. From the beautifully presented dishes to the perfect seasoning and generous portions, everything was top-notch. Not only did we want to hug the chef afterward, but I honestly didn’t want to brush my teeth for the rest of the day! The check came out to around $120, including a well-deserved 25% tip. Even though we spent more than we initially planned, it was totally worth it, and I can’t wait to come back!

The food here is fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is family style cozy. There's enough separation for privacy in the small space, but enough closeness to register a family vibe. Friendly server, but the hostess, unfortunately was non-verbal, by choice it seemed, responding only with body language or facial expressions. We went for a not-so-busy, early Saturday lunch, but had to ask for the check 5 times before finally getting it. Outside seating is ample. Cute place! I ordered the bento box with a spicy tuna roll and mandarin beef--recommended by our knowledgeable server! Very good! I opted for a salad with orange ginger dressing over the miso soup. Fresh! Tasty! An engaging, more experienced hostess would have garnered 5 stars for Fuji. The food, however, was good enough for me to later call in an order for Chicken Pad Thai for hubby's dinner!
