Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

My family and I were very excited to see this location opening. Have attempted to patronize this location on 4 separate occasions. Twice I used drive up to order 2 Chicken sandwiches. They were barely warm, bread and chicken was soggy. They definitely were not fresh. Third time I tried the app. The counter person was not schooled on how to access the features of the app. He tried yo have the manager come help, she claimed she didn't have time to help me. Tonight I was ordering on the app...a $38 order. I arrived at the location to pick up my order at 9:36 and the doors were locked. Drove around to drive thru and was told app was down the last 2 days so I could not get the specials. We preceeded to order 4 chicken sandwiches and were told they only had 1 available and no ff were available since fryers had been shut off at 9pm. As we passed the window...with no food, the entire staff yelled something to us as we drove past. Sorry to say I WILL NEVER GO BACK...

Well after a year of operation I have been back a few times, 3 times in the last 4 weeks and just a couple days ago. I ordered online through the app and went in, Derrick greeted me with a smile and a welcome and I let him know I ordered on the app, he confirmed my order and let me know they were cooking the fish and It would be just a minute and asked if I would like my drink cup now. Just as I was sitting down Derrick called to me, my order was already complete. The spicy fish sandwich was hot and a really good fish sandwich. Not terribly spicy but they are cooking for the masses. The fries, hot and fresh and a box FULL (far better that the half full large I got from McDonald's across the street) I took most of them home. I spent just under 12 dollars(McDonald's just over 15 for lunch) so reasonable. Derrick also had 1 of his his associates cleaning the dining room so it was top notch as well as the bathroom. I have eaten at many Popeyes all across the nation, and generally found them decent. So when this location opened in my hometown I was excited.

I attempted to try this place earlier in the week for my lunch break. Went inside, and 20 minutes after I paid and still hadn’t received my food I got a refund and left.

I’m back with my wife for a “quick dinner” (It 5:15pm on a Thursday and there is only two other tables eating inside) Once ordered/paid, standing and waiting for my food for nearly 10 minutes (2 Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches w/Mac & Cheese), they informed me it would be another 10 minutes. Fast-forward 18 minutes later we finally received our sandwiches. What a disappointment they were. The chicken was tough and the breading had a sweetness to it that was off.
