Absolutely love this restaurant! Great atmosphere with excellent service. The decor is cozy and festive. The Margarita Tower is pretty rad. I had a meet-up at this restaurant with friends from Washington and they too loved the vibe. I'd recommend checking it out if your in town. If you're looking for take out, they offer that as well. Oh and did I mention location! It's close to the local library which could be beneficial to travelers. Also only about a mile from HWY 67. Oct.6th.2023 update Service is always great!!

Cons first, the salsa bowls are tiny, the parking is very limited and crowded and the dining room is far from polished, that being said. The food was delicious. It came out rapidly. The service was fast and polite without being annoying. Table stayed clear and the drinks full. The salsa was really good (thus my complaint about the tiny bowls) Honestly its a little rough around the edges but easily took top spot for Mexican in the area. Will be returning.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the Pollo Cancun and the trio burritos, everything was seasoned great and the meat was all very tender. Our servers were lovely, polite and made sure we were happy with everything. The decor was bright and fun. They had some amazing drink specials offered too. We will definitely be back, probably our new favorite Mexican place in the area.

Sadly, I have had to change this review from a five-star to a one-star! The reason being, the last couple of times we have been in there, it has been extremely busy and our orders have been delivered wrong order, or forgotten completely!!! Last evening, May 5th 2022, we stopped in at around 5:30 p.m. to place an order to go, we ordered, Pollo Feliz, but got something entirely different we discovered when we got home. To make matters worse this was the first real meal after a surgical visit to the hospital the day before and have not eaten since then. Don't know what dish we got oh, but it was definitely not, Pollo Feliz! Have been trying to call the restaurant at listed number, but it goes on unanswered and after the fifth ring it goes to what sounds like a cell phone voicemail box which has not been set up. There is no way to reach them by phone and cannot find any additional contact information. Because of this I cannot recommend this dining experience any...

I've wanted mexican forever. We don't have any good mexican restaurants 21 minutes up the highway even though there are at least four mexican restaurants. I got the carnitas. They had the crispiest edges like fried pork rind almost. I would have been happy with just that. The cheese dip is great too with a little bit of spice, not bland like most of the other local places. The salsa could use a little something but is still better than other places within a 30 minute drive. Anyone from festus to ste gen, frediericktown etc., should just go ahead and drive here. And don't judge the appearance. It may not be as nice as some of the others but at least the food is worth the money and the drive. The servers could turn it down a notch, as every time you took a bite someone asked how we were doing, at least 30 times...

We went and had a party of 7. Everyone loved their food accept two of us. We both ordered the chimi grande and both were the same. It’s supposed to be a 14” tortilla filled with meat of choice(steak), on a bed of cooked mushrooms, peppers and onions with some sauce. There were no mushrooms and the peppers and onions were raw. The small amount of meat was pathetic, less than 1/2 cup. Very tiny pieces of steak and the tortilla was rolled up very tight and small. I emptied the meat out and made it look like it was when served. When the server picked ip my plate when finished, he never said a thing about it. This was supposed to be the “grande” and it was pathetic! Certainly not worth the $13.50. Other than that it was a nice restaurant, staff was friendly and...
