First off I want to say the food here is really good that is not the problem. I have been here 3 times since they opened because I have a family member who works there and I always try to spend money where my friends and family work because I believe in putting money into the businesses they work at so they can keep a job. Unfortunately every experience I have had since friends and family night has not been good. The first time i came in i brought a friend from out of town in and bragged them up. I sat in the full service bar area and it was not busy. The waitress who waited on me on friends and family night and I left a 20 dollar tip to this time walked by me 3 times and never said a word. We sat there for 15 minutes and didn't even receive a menu and my friend got very angry and we left to eat somewhere else. The next time I ordered to go with a friend and got a supreme where I said no mushrooms because I am allergic so my friend went and got the pizza and brought it back and lo and behold it was full of mushrooms. I just left now again after calling in a to go order for bone in wings and an order of twists. I got there and my wings were boneless and even though the manager was very nice and gave me the wings for free when my order came out I did not get my twists and I told then I couldn't wait because I placed a to go order because I was in a hurry and had people waiting on me. I work overnights and it snowed here so I have been running around all day helping people and I just wanted a simple order done right. While I appreciate the free food I don't mind spending my money cause I eat out a lot. I have been trying to give my money to this place but the staff even though they are friendly don't seem to pay attention very well to what people want. It's very frustrating. I want them to succeed because like I said I have family who works there(who was not there when I have gone in) but 3 times I have been highly disappointed in the service. I hope it improves but I think today was the last straw for me and I will probably take my...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place enough. We are a family of four (girls currently 5 and 2 years old), and we found this place about a year and a half ago. We love their lunch buffet, and always go as a family on the days my husband and daughter are out of work/school. It's clean and the employees are always so friendly. The pizza is awesome and I love the variety. The soda is one of those machines where you can choose the base soda then choose some flavors and make it your own. My girls always start with a coloring page while I get them their slices, and then when they are done with the pizza they head into the arcade, which is surrounded by glass so my husband and I can have a minute to finish our food while still having our eyes on our kids. There are always games playing on the tvs, and the music over the speakers range from popular music to the occasional Christian song, both of which I enjoy immensely. I find myself dancing in my seat. The employees work joyfully from what I can tell. If they're chatting behind the counter while I'm getting pizza it's always wholesome. They recently have gotten a lot of new games in their arcade. Our new favorite is the vr SpongeBob roller coaster, but we still leave every time with a handful of rubber ducks from the claw game. When I say I cannot recommend this place enough, I honestly mean it. We are about to move 45 minutes away, and we are so sad not to be in the same se town as this round table... But we agreed today that we will definitely be back to visit. 💕🍕 Thank you to the Round Table family for all the amazing...
Read moreUpdate 24 hours later: I don't think it was gluten cross contamination. Because I had my wife's left-over pizza (I don't have celiac disease, so I didn't care if there was some form of gluten). After all, I'm a cheapskate--I'm not letting pizza go to waste. Welp, good news and bad news: The good news is I hit my goal weight. The bad news is I was in the bathroom all day with raging diarrhea that rivaled Hawaii's Kilauea. I actually had a USGS representative contact our household because the tremors registered on their Richter scale.
But perhaps it was just our household (who knows, an isolated stomach bug?), but someone else at the pizza party (who does not live with us), just had the salad bar--no pizza at all. She likewise experienced Pele's wrath, setting a new record in the bathroom that was reminiscent of Hiroshima.
This has me thinking now: A year ago I went in and got the "pour your own beer" special. It was pretty fun, and I felt like a wee little boy at Christmas, prancing around playing bartender. I didn't think of it until now, but there were two tabs when you pulled the lever, little floaties (mold buildup) came out of the pour spout. I didn't think much of it because due to my inebriated state, one could've insulted by pet wolverine, and I still wouldn't have minded. The supervisor was super cool, and she promised to clean the spouts. But now that I'm thinking about it, I really wonder about the cleanliness of the whole establishment.
So if you want to hit your goal weight, Round Table Pizza is the place to...
