Ambiance: A little bit of a relaxing lounge music vibe. Not a huge place so it wasn't overly loud or hard to hold a conversation with your guests or speak to the staff. It was comfortable.

Service: Staff was friendly and consistent. Brought drinks right away and were helpful navigating the ample menu. Came by regularly to check in. Good job.

Food Quality: Really good. Had two of the ramen dishes and one of the fancy rolls. The broth in both ramen dishes had excellent flavor and depth. Noodles were nice and soft but not mush. Pork was flavorful. And for the roll, the ingredients were all fresh and worked well together. No hard rice or smelly fish.

Value for Money: $15 for ramen or $25 for ramen and any roll. The combo was an excellent value and the ramen on its own was a fair price.

Overall Experience: I was actually unaware that they had so many non-sushi dishes to choose from. Which is reason enough to bring the whole family next time as there are options for all. Can't really find anything bad to say about the...

Food is good, but unfortunately will not be going back. Last time they got my order wrong for pickup, which is no big deal. But I called them and asked if they could make the right order and I'll pick it up. They said yes we will do that. I arrived to pick up the food and the server asked if I brought back my old order. What? I was not told to bring back the wrong sushi roll over the phone. Keep in mind all sushi rolls were on the same plate, meaning I would've had to bring everything back (including the ones that were correct). What are you going to do, serve it to someone else? Anyways, the server almost did not give me the correct remade order. Then said "Well as a kind service from us we will give you this." What?? Sumo Sushi in Bonney Lake is an absolute gem! I can’t stop raving about this place to my friends and family. The sushi here is simply amazing – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I tried the Las Vegas roll and the Midnight roll, and both were out of this world. The fish quality is top-notch, some of the best I’ve had in the area. What really sets Sumo Sushi apart is their fantastic service. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Even though it was a busy night, the food came out quickly and the staff handled everything with ease. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere – clean, cozy, and perfect for a nice dinner out. While it might be a tad pricier than some other places, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it totally worth it.
