Hops n Drops — Restaurant in Bonney Lake

We usually love Hops and Drops. Unfortunately the service received today by our server was so awful that I decided a review needed to be written. As a 5+ person, table. We are always extremely patient with our servers because with a couple of us have worked as service workers. We know how hectic a larger group can get, with multiple requests going on at once and different tabs. Tonight Our server Kathryn ignored various requests from our table, brought out 2 orders wrong and forgot my order all together. After asking us to repeat our order 3 times, the items were unfortunately still wrong. When we figured out our meal situation we were brought our check, minutes after receiving the first orders. I’m not sure about anyone else but none of us, even when swallowing our food whole from being out walking all day, EVER have ate in under 10 minutes. We are extremely disappointed with the experience and service we received today as everyone sitting around us seemed to be having a regular dine in experience. We were not granted that. Definitely would not recommend to eat here if you have a larger group or around dinner time when they are a little busier, in order to avoid a similar experience to ours. And THANK YOU to all of the fellow staff at Hops and Drops that saw the discomfort we found our selves in and stepped up to bring us the correct drinks and entrees and checking in on us when we assumed we had been...

We love hops and drops but this didn't match previous experiences. I believe our waiter was Cameron, we were rushed to order as happy hour was ending, 1 person in our party ordered the sliders and the rest of us waited as we wanted to look at the menu. My daughter had the kids menu. The rest of us ordered after happy hour to include my daughter ordering chicken strips. Our friend who ordered the happy hour sliders then asked to add a side salad and was pretty much told no, you ordered the happy hour item and you can't add to it. We would have simply paid for it at regular cost but he shamed her for not ordering earlier. Our food comes out and as my daughter got her food he asked, did you order the kids chicken strips, and I said that's the only menu she has. He said, well she wanted extra food (our friend wanting a salad) so she can share, again shaming our friend. My daughter ate 75% of the food so the waiter came by and made a point to say, good thing I put in the full order since she ate most the food. He basically shamed 2 of the 3 woman in our group including my 9 year old, making her feel like she made a mistake. Our bill was not adjusted for him improperly putting in the order and he walked away still with a tip because we are not bad customers and understand people work to survive. I called ahead yesterday and spoke with the general manager of this establishment, and explained that I had a party of 18-20 hoping to come in for lunch for a celebration. The general manager took down my name and contact info and assured me that they would be able to accommodate us no problem

Fast forward to us showing up today for lunch, and upon arriving we were notified that they were unable to accommodate us for at least 30-45 minutes by the hostess. Obviously this was tremendously frustrating, and when I asked to speak to a manager I spoke with an assistant manager who expressed apologies and confirmed that they were aware that I had called yesterday and that communication was poor.

All in all, a tremendously disappointing experience. The Ram in Puyallup was happy to accommodate us and we were happy to take our business there. Unfortunately this establishment may have permanently lost our business.

EDIT MULTIPLE MONTHS LATER: after contacting the general manager per their commented request on this review, they STILL never followed thru on fulfilling any promises to make their service better or improve our atrocious experience. I received a email response from the GM promising a gift card as compensation, which was never received or followed up on.

Absolute trash establishment...
