Mistakes happen, how they are rectified makes or breaks an experience. The new AI system messed up my order, missing a “bird dog“ sandwich. The screen did not show my full order, just a price, which is what the AI assistant read back so I had no way of knowing the issue until I got to the window.
While explaining to the old lady who took money in the drive-through, she grabbed the bag from me, closed the window, and walked off (not only incredibly rude, but a health code violation to take food back in that had already been handed out as well). When she came back, she said that I had not ordered the second bird dog (Which I had, as they are advertising a 2/$5 dollar special) and that I could pay for a second one if I wanted it. I tried to explain that that would be more expensive since it would be an “à la cart” order instead of the special, Then she again closed the window and walked off without acknowledging that I was even speaking. WILD.
She returned with a manager that couldn’t have been over 20 years old who told me AI had not heard me and that I could buy another one if I wanted it… Again, I explained how that would have me paying more than what I ordered, and that since it was an issue on their end, I was hoping they would rectify it. Then, she started to insinuate that It was my fault by asking “did the drive-through not read your order back to you?”. After my wife and I both exclaimed “no”, she seemed baffled and offered no solution.
Trying to steer the conversation in a more productive direction, I mentioned that I own two businesses, and understand that mistakes happen and that just throwing the missing sandwich in the bag would make us whole, keep their drive-through line moving, and not generate the negative review you are reading. Apparently, it did not make sense to them to eat the

After 2pm they only serve half there menu yet it took me 30 mins to get around to the window to get my to go order that still wasn't ready. It looked liked only 1 or 2 of the 5 people in the store was actually trying to get orders out. I understand places are short staffed but this just seemed like the staff didn't care not the case of them not having enough help. There is another bojangles five mins away from this one that is always fast, friendly, and the food is always great. They should just shut this location down. After 2 you can only choose from 4 main items and 3 sides. So I'm confused as to why it took 30 mins to get my order yesterday when you are operating with less than half your menu. That is just crazy. Please fix this location or just shut it down please...
Read moreThe lobby looked like they just had a party. Tables and chairs all over the place with drink cups sitting on them from pervious customers and the none of the tables had been cleaned! The floors were disgusting and around the drink station was sticky and the teas weren't covered by lids! The sweet tea was soured and no one seemed to know what to do about it and I was offered another one from drive thru and when I received it it had been filled to the top and running down the sides of the cup! The food was terrible and the biscuits were flat and dry! I was so looking forward to having biscuits and they're the only ones that serve breakfast all day except the other bojangles which only offers drive thru. We truly dissatisfied and probably won't be back any time soon! We didn't even attempt to go to the restroom after seeing how the lobby looked! I know businesses are facing short staffing issues but this...
