Had such a great experience at the Chick-fil-A in Boone. I’ve been here a few times now and every single time, the staff has been so friendly and welcoming. You can really tell they care about providing good service. Everyone I interacted with had a smile on their face, and they all seemed happy to be there, which honestly makes a big difference when you’re grabbing a quick bite.
This time I ordered the Market Salad, which has become one of my go-to meals. It was super fresh, with crisp greens, fruit, nuts, and perfectly grilled chicken. The flavors work so well together and the dressing ties it all in really nicely. It feels like a healthier option but still super satisfying and full of flavor. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something a little lighter that still tastes great.
The restaurant itself was clean and well organized. Even when it was busy, things moved quickly and smoothly. They really have their system down, and you can tell the team works well together. I also noticed that they checked in with people eating in the dining room, just to make sure everything was okay, which I appreciated.
Whether you’re passing through or live nearby, I would definitely recommend stopping by this location. The staff alone makes it worth the visit, and the food is exactly what you’d hope for from Chick-fil-A. Good service, good food, and an overall positive...
Read moreIf you are trying to avoid food-borne illness, DON’T EAT HERE!! I’ve never been so sick in my entire life! I ordered a cool chicken wrap with fries and a lemonade. I couldn’t even eat the entire wrap because something about it felt off. 5 hours later Im feeling super nauseous and start vomiting up chicken and lettuce, could have been E.coli from the lettuce or salmonella from the chicken, either way the chicken wrap was the culprit since it was the only thing I had to eat that day. Then I started to have the worst diarrhea (and vomiting at the same time) with stomach cramps, full body aches, high fever (101 degrees). It’s two days later and I’m still not fully recovered. Out of curiosity, I contacted my friend who also got a chicken sandwich the same time as me and they also got sick and was vomiting. I then called the store and the kitchen manager at the time (I wish I could remember his name) who was simply no help at all. He told me that it was not them who got me sick and that sickness has been going around and that they are “110% on top of the kitchen cleanliness” which was obviously NOT TRUE. Worst experience ever. If your considering getting food here. DONT! Never will I ever support any...
Read moreI gave 3 stars as we've not had this happen before, and usually the staff is courteous. We live over an hour away, but we are willing to make the drive, but this past visit we regretted doing it for the first time.
My wife and I (and our hungry, crying 1 year old toddler) received our order after a hiccup on the app where it looked like there was an issue with our order. After this was resolved we realized our toddler's order had the wrong kind of nugget. There were no employees outside, and our toddler was crying for lunch, so my wife had to go into the lobby to get our order fixed.
Apparently one of the black shirt employees essentially told her to get out of the lobby and then was very rude to my wife, when my wife just needed the order fixed for our child. It was not our fault that the order was messed up, and there were no available employees outside.
We're not going to mention the employee's name as I'm sure my wife was a little exasperated with the 2 order hiccups plus our crying child so there's probably blame on both sides, but I think the owner should definitely speak to all the black shirts and give a refresher on...
