We had the worst experience. We got there at 8:30 pm sign says they close at 9. There were 5 of us total. My son noticed the waiter coming from the back waving his hands no, that he didn’t want us seated. We offered to go somewhere else when we walked in but the lady at the register told us we were fine and they seated us. We ordered our drinks (only one person in the family wanted water), we ordered our food, we were told no soup was an option because of the time. We said okay and all ordered salads. We even made it simple and all ordered the same thing. The waiter was rude and acted like we were a problem because we got there 30 minutes before they closed. He was short with us and rolled his eyes multiple times. The final straw was the waiter brought back our drinks and brought back 6 waters (which only one person ordered water) and put them at the very end of the table for us to get ourselves. Clearly he didn’t care what we ordered. The worst of the worst service I have ever received. I will never go there again. I will make sure I tell all of my friends and family about our experience. I have never been treated this way. I will be contacting management about this experience. I have been going here for years and never had an issue and this will be the last time that my family ever goes here. We will go to Taste Grill or Makotos from now on. So...

My boyfriend ordered two hibachi chickens to go. In the past, I have suspected that I have a sensitivity to shellfish but it doesn’t state on the menu that there will be shrimp in an any item that doesn’t specify shrimp in the title. I got about 3-4 bites in when I noticed my order had one piece of shrimp in it. My boyfriend’s order of hibachi chicken did not contain shrimp.
I gave the customer service 1 star as well because when my boyfriend called to request that he gets his money back for my dish, they requested that he drive back to prove that there was shrimp in my dish. My boyfriend drove back to Hokkaido as soon as he got off the phone and when he got there they were closed. The employee encouraged my boyfriend to drive back to the restaurant and didn’t mention their hours of operation on the call. Nevertheless, my boyfriend was able to return my food and get a refund the next day after he picked me up from the hospital. I was treated in the ER for anaphylaxis. I didn’t know my allergy was severe enough to cause anaphylaxis but regardless, this business should not include shellfish in a dish without disclosing it on the menu. Pictures...

Upon arriving we decided we would rather eat at the restaurant so we wouldn't have to travel back to our rental and eat cold food , so we asked if it would be possible to eat our to go order in the restaurant and to our surprise the hostess said that the tables are for customers who would need to be waited on even though they were not even at half capacity . I explained that we did not even have drinks and would be more than happy to leave a tip for the waiter only to be told that there was a game and they would soon be busy even tho our order was ready and it would only take us 5-10 mins to eat . Needless to say we were blown away at the fact that we just purchased a meal just like every one else in the restaurant but because our order was "Togo" meant we would be unable to eat at the restaurant .
