Osaka Boone — Restaurant in Boone

Literally the worst restaurant in Boone. I've given this place 3 chances, each time I've not gotten what I ordered. The first time they blamed the driver for not checking the bag however there was a tamper proof sticker on the bag that would have prevented the driver to open it, for that I was offered the food that was left to be brought to me, the second time they blamed the cashier for incorrectly placing my order (it was a boone delivery so there was no way to get wrong what I placed -_-) for this I was offered an $8 credit(another slap in the face), this last time I did NOT want to order from here however I wanted to use the credit and hoped that they would have seen my troubles with them and double checked my order but they did not. I was not given silverware or napkins, no salad for my hibachi dinner, two of the smallest soggiest egg rolls you'll ever eat, and what could loosely be called hibachi. The rice was so dry it crumbled off my fork, the broccoli was not cooked, I ordered no onions and guess what was hiding all over my food? You guessed it, onions. For this I was offered my forgotten salad and nothing else. I will never be eating or recommending this restaurant to the guests of my hotel. I honestly wish no stars...

A close friend and I recently visited the wonderful establishment known as Osaka. I was immediately overwhelmed by the absolutely wonderful decorations and the overall rustic appeal. I truly appreciated the 8 year old sitting by himself playing with planes across from our table. I loved how he pretended to shoot at the waiter and made "pew pew pew" noises to emphasize his actions. Our water looked and acted like Matthew McConaughey if he was down on his luck with recent movie appearances. The food possessed a familiar yet strange quality; it was like eating at an uncle's house who was recently released from prison. I personally had the sushi three roll deal, other than the hair in it, it was delightful. I am not sure if actual tuna was in the tuna roll, but it tasted good, so how can I complain? The only reason I cannot give this five stars is because Mr. McConaughey swiped my G-2 pen when I was filling out the sushi order form. Food was awesome! The reason for the 4 star review and not 5 stars is the hostess and our waitress. There were 4 of us who went here for our Christmas lunch. When we walked in the restaurant, the hostess asked how many, started shuffling through the "Special Christmas Menus" looking a little clueless as to what she was doing. The phone rang, she answered it, took an order, hung up, looked around cluelessly, as we still stood waiting to be seated. Finally a waitress (our waitress) came and sat us down at our table. She was pretty quick taking our order and bringing our drinks. But, after that, the service slowed way down. We got our food and asked for extra shrimp sauce, salad dressing, etc. The only problem about us asking for anything extra is, we had to ask 2 and 3 times for the same thing before we finally got it.
