I have been having problems with the night shift at this location for weeks. Every time I dine here there is something wrong. Tonight, the worker in the window looked at me and told me everything was in the bag. I was in a hurry to get home because I needed to get ready for work. I checked to make sure the correct items and number of fries were present. I get home and tell my daughter that there is food since I wasn't able to cook dinner, and she takes a bite of the fries before spitting into the trash. I asked her what was wrong and she said it tasted old. I have a feel of the fry carton and noticed that it was the same temp as the room. I was going to give her my fries, but they were cold as well. I tell her that we can just deal with it and eat the other things. I take out my chicken nuggets and give my daughter her sandwich only to find that I had 8 out of 10 nuggets and no sweet and sour sauce (I paid for extra). I decided that this was unacceptable, got back in my car, and made the 1 minute drive to return the food. I let the workers know that I wasn't going to yell and cause a scene because a family was present, but the level of service I have been receiving on late nights was unacceptable. I didn't raise my voice. I didn't use foul language. I simply expressed my displeasure at the crew member telling me everything was in the bag when NOTHING he was responsible for putting in the bag was in the bag. I asked him how he managed to Miss the shiny green tops on the sauce, and the only white things (straws) in the bag. This, according to him, made him feel disrespected, and I told him that I didn't mean to be disrespectful, but it's disrespectful to serve people the food I received. He told me that he could remake the food, but he wouldn't be disrespected, and I told him I didn't want to talk about it anymore, and a remake would be fine. He continued to attempt to escalate the situation to the point that I asked him if he had other customers to serve because I was not going to apologize for being wronged. At this point, I just asked for a refund and he stated that he didn't have to give me one because I was being disrespectful. I advised him that he was incorrect, and I would be leaving with my $22. He decided that the correct thing to do would be to call the police. I waited, and eventually received a refund, but I took the time to write this review just to make the Boone McDonald's aware that I may just be one person, but I'd rather not eat at all than interact with another member of their night crew. I might just stop eating there entirely. I might be healthier for it. Read moreThe employees were all on their phones, they cooks took forever to get my order, today (2-18-2018) I was in the store, the manager was texting, employees were ignoring their customers, some of the employees that were not on the clock were standing at the counter, blocking customers from being able to order. A veteran was in there at the same time I was waiting for my order and he was getting ignored for almost 5 minutes and it took everything I had to not go up to the counter and say something. All of the high school kids they have as employees really need to be trained better, knowing what they can and cannot do on and off the clock at their place of employment. I felt very irritated and disrespected and a customer because all of the teenagers were on their phones, disrespecting the customers, and loitering in the front of the store. The managers didn't say a word about the way the employees were treating customers, or telling them to put their phones away. Read moreWe are in boone for a week, we ate at your establishment twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Both breakfast days, the food and service were great. BOTH dinner nights we had issues. The first night apon pulling to the pay window we were yelled at by the manager because we didn't know how much our food cost and neither did she. Ahe also yelled and I mean yelled at her staff for this. The second dinner night we ordered a #3 no bun no cheese, and a reg #3. After getting our food there were no fries. We offered to pay for fries if there mistake. The same manager from the first dinner night came to the window and we told her what the issue was. She was Extremely rude and forcefully told us we would have to go back through the line. Her unkind attitude and sloveny look put a huge damper on what had been a great evening! To top it off. After returning to our room we found out the burger with no cheese just had the cheese pulled off, bits were still left.
