This place has gone down the drain. This used to be a great McDonald's, however, after my last order, I can never look at this place the same again. I had a coupon for buy one get one free. So, I decided to get a quarter pounder and receive a free 10 pc. McNugget. I also ordered a large fry and 5, 4 pc. McNuggets. I waited at least ten minutes for my order and there weren't even any customers in the store. Once I finally received my order in a stapled bag, I headed home. Once I got home I opened my bag and realized that my quarter pounder was missing. I decided to go back, a 6 mile drive, to get my quarter pounder. When I got to the store, I told the associate that I was missing my item and that I would like another one for the inconvenience. The associate immediately told me that he could only give me the one I bought so I asked him if there was anything else he could give me. He said that he can't give me anything and he put the blame on his other associates. He continued to tell me that he cannot give me anything extra in exchange. After a while, he went into the back, talked to his associates and came back with a 10 pc. nugget. He was acting as if it was my fault that my order wasn't complete. The customer must always come first but the associates at this McDonald's obviously have no care for customers. Also, in addition to the terrible quality control, I witnessed the workers in the back using his bare hands to put chicken nuggets into their boxes. These boxes were then served to customers. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. At the very least they should be wearing gloves and should be using tongs, not their bare, unwashed hands. McDonald's needs to get their act together at this location and take action immediately. This was a very sad and terrible experience and I may never go back to this...
Read moreMade a quick pit stop in Booton NJ to grab a bite and fill the tank. Food came first, a McDonald's. Server Amairani was very patient with this senior who ordered 2 McDoubles, a senior coffee for 59 cents and half a glass of water, no ice, to take his noon time pills, pills to be taken with food no less. . The coffee was perfectly prepared, half coffee, half hot water, two creams, one Splenda. Some customers have such exacting requirements, no? . I took the pills in the restaurant and prepared the burgers to go by dumping the bottoms of both buns and smooshing the rest of the burgers together. I got extra napkins to protect my shirt in the car. I ate the doubled double while waiting in line at the gas station next door, ten cents a gallon cheaper than the one before McDonalds, if I remember correctly. And they pump it for you in New Jersey. I gave the lad a buck. Hey, it was Christmas Eve. . Careful pulling out of the McDonald's and the gas station. Lotsa traffic, narrow roads, big trucks trying to get the job done before Christmas. It was relatively easy for me as I was going right both times. The entrance to the highway is just passed the gas station. It's a left between two non-descript (IMHO) buildings--I am sure they are very nice inside. I think a sign for the highway may have been missing on my side. You also need to be careful merging. There might not have been a full run lane after you get off the curvy entrance ramp. . I didn't open my coffee until I was back out on the highway. It was delicious. Thanks, "Amy" for a perfect cup of Joe to help a driver on his way, with many miles to go before I could sleep. . Will I see you here next time I stop on...
Read moreVery bad experience. The drive thru line took forever even though it wasn't busy. It looked like there was only one person working though, so I would be understanding if that was the only issue. But when I ordered, the person was very rude. When I politely corrected something on the order screen, he said "so you changed your mind then" instead of just accepting that he misheard me at first (which would have been fine). He then ended up getting the correction completely wrong when I picked up the food. Back to ordering - when I asked for a second sauce, instead of saying he'd have to charge me for another, he said I couldn't have two. I had to proactively ask if I could pay for a second one. I then asked to confirm that he'd added my milkshake that I'd asked for in the beginning (because it wasn't on the screen), and he said "no", then paused before saying to go to the second window. I assumed he added it at that point. After getting my food, I asked about my milkshake, and he only then told me that they had no milkshakes at that time. I would have just gotten another drink if I'd known that before. I know working customer service sucks, especially for minimum wage, so I'm not usually one to complain, but this was a really really bad experience. I'll make it a point to not stop at this...
