Ordered online. Order wasn't COMPLETELY Ready on arrival for Carry-Out, although received "Order Ready" text, 3-5 minutes prior. Med Pizza and Only 1 of 2 Wings Order was Ready; but, one was omitted from completion; and, had to wait another 8 minutes for it to be complete.
VERY DISAPPOINTING Med hand tossed Pizza. Ordered 2 toppings (onion & pineapple) with light sauce: NO ONIONS; Just a teaspoon of canned pineapples; cheese NOT Mozzarella (must we specify?); and, hardly ANY "cheese" -? (it was white at least); very dry and hard like rubber.
Picked it up at the counter (pre-paid; and, loaded order into my own insulated carrier, which USUALLY, keeps an order HOT until home in 10 min drive. THIS time however, upon opening insulated pouch, and digging into Orders, the Pizza was LUKEWARM, BARELY Hot and 1 of Wings Orders was barely warm. 2nd Wings order was NOT as hot as expected. Chicken wings did not taste "fresh"; and, detected an aftertaste as if chicken was enhanced with "natural FLAVORING" (commonly practiced in SOME commercial poultry for storage flavor loss).
Wings were ordered "plain" (too many preservatives* in "1 oz "dipping sauce" pkg.); again, DRY product (another disadvantage of them not being drowned in room temperature, dispenser supplied sauce?).
*potassium sorbate; potassium benzoate (organic from stores available with less salt & sugar; but who's counting versus fast "food", eh?)
SOOOO, for $28 at CarryOut price, it SURELY was NOT worth that; but, maybe $5-$6!??? grrrrrr
Congratulations to "Grocer Bought FROZEN, Packaged Factory Pizzas"!! You JUST GOT PROMOTED as a BETTER Pizza Alternative such as, Red Baron Digiorno, Tombstone, California, Bellatoria, Sam's oreven 365 (Whole Foods) Brands!
At least we had some savings in electricity by not baking at home.... the option for Murphy's unbaked's with more wholesome toppings not worth the 10 mile drive.
On a More Positive note, Dominos are a few points better than the local Papa John's, Johnny's PizzaHuts AND, believe it or not, the once superior but now intolerable, Marco's (Bossier franchisee in wrong business).
The personnel of this location offer exceptional service, always work as a team, are mostly pleasant (until working at "full speed" 😏). Delivery Drivers get in and, get out with precision and, "at the speed limit"!
[ JOE DID THAT! ] - - Prices have TRIPLED ON Pizza everywhere; so I believe all vendors CAN AFFORD better quality with their wholesale costs...
Read moreI had visited bossier and stayed in Wingate hotel with my family.I ordered 14 wings and 2 liters of Coke (to be specific).The order time was between 7:30 and 8:00 pm.This was immediately after we checked in.The lady (forgotten her name)took my order and totalled it to 17.30 dollars ,and my order to be delivered within 45 minutes per her words! Well, she took my card number,security code and zip code and she processed it.she never asked for my address or room #, and I being used the hotel phone to order, I too think maybe the address and room shows automatically.To make the story short,we waited for almost 2 hrs.Around 9 thirty-somethingish,I called again using the same phone and a male attendant this time round answered the phone.I ASKED as to why I haven't received my order.He answered and say that " we don't have such order in our computer and I have to call them with my cell phone"! Well I called them with my cellphone and this time round a lady picks up and after 2 ..3 conversation about the same issue, she puts me on hold and allover certain I'm speaking with Mike (the manager).Mike said he doesn't see such order in the computer.I informed mike that the transaction shows in my bank account that it has been processed and it shows the store number.Mike said he don't know.This time,I was getting infuriated and I jump into my car and drove 2-3 miles to the domino to show them that I did order and transaction was made.I pulled my bank information and show Mike the transaction which was carried and no delivery made,and instead of Mike to acknowledge the mistake made; continues to plays dumb..and said they don't see the order in the computer.I left the store totally disgusted! I'm yet to call my bank and cancel the transaction made!In this regard, if hungry and want something to eat, please, desist from ordering food from this domino's place,otherwise u, your family...
Read moreI used to live a significant distance away, and the Minden, LA location was the closest (but outside of delivery distance). I'd had issues with phone not being answered (sometimes 30mins before closing) and well within my potential arrival time. Even getting there with 15-20 minutes before closing, would often find them either closed or closing. Fast-forward a couple of times and I figured out it wasn't much distance to add if I knew the place would ALWAYS answer the phone (even minutes before closing), and we're ALWAYS friendly and professional. I've since moved to the Shreveport-Bossier Area and use the delivery app for the most part. I recently wanted a Domino's order, but the App was trying to keep it closer to local and they were ALL closed! "Just for Grins", I pulled up my old "Johnson St Domino's" and THEY were OPEN. I feel like I've been reunited with a Dear Old Friend", and I can't say that about too many "Fast Food" (or many other type) businesses these...
