We are brand new to the area, and we wanted to try something different. What a mistake! Last night was our first time trying this place and it was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I placed an online order for pick up and went in at the time I requested. As I walked in, there was a gentleman at the cash register having a conversation with another lady that sounded personal and someone working the drive through. I made eye contact with both and neither said anything to me. A couple of minutes later, Chantelle walked up and looked at me, said nothing and proceeded to watch a video with this lady. A few more minutes past and I finally asked her if she could get my pizza that I was there to pick up. I explained that I had been waiting for a while and no one asked if I had been helped yet. Her response was, “well why didn’t you say something?”. Common customer service when a customer walks into your facility would be to ask how can you help them. She argued back with me for a while and I had to repeatedly ask her for our food so I could leave. Then she made a comment that she better shut her mouth before she says something and I replied that would probably be a good idea and she told me to shut my mouth. I left extremely upset at the way I was treated, called back and asked for the manager. Chantelle answered the phone and placed me on hold. A manager named Evan picked up and completely missed the mark on making anything better. Evan didn’t sound like he was a manger because all he could say was I’m sorry that happened to you and I will talk with her. I did ask him if the best he could do was apologize and he asked me “ what do you want a pizza card or something?”. With that type of attitude, I’m not surprised the employees there act the way they do. Needless to say we will...
Read moreOn Saturday, April 20th, at 4:33 PM my son Joshua celebrated his birthday with minor friends, guests, and family. We ordered by phone before arrival. Once at the location we paid for five pizzas and drinks ($90.13). We all went to the party room and gathered. Some of our guests ordered extras on their own.
While there, the same person that took our order brought out one of our pizzas. When putting it on the table the worker slammed it on the table one-half half of the pie slide of the tray. The worker slide it back on the tray, but not without using profanity in front of five minor kids in my party. We did not comment at the time and choice not to make a scene in front of younger visiting friends.
I did call the Johnny's in Haughton and spoke with the manager there. I told her about the incident and gave the manager my info. I wanted this incident reported to the owner or manager of the Johnny's located at 2016 Airline in Bossier.
As a former police officer and now a retired teacher I felt this incident needed to be addressed. I have lived in Haughton 22 years and usually go to the Hwy 80 Haughton Johnny's. This location supports Haughton High. I visit it often with my boys or my school teacher spouse. The Hwy 80 Johnny's is the best: friendly staff, family environment, great prices, and is supportive of our youth.
I do not plan to visit the Airline location in the future. The only reason we went to Johnny's at 2016 Airline was because my kids and their friends went to a nearby game room to party before eating.
Mgr: Evans can call me anytime at my cell...
Read moreWe have been here a couple times. I suppose it depends on the time of day as to the type of service you're going to get. Last time was a grade of 4 mainly due to cleanliness, everything else was spot on for this pizza house. This time, if it were not for the stellar customer service of the young man who finally showed up to the counter, everything would be a full on complaint. The place looks like it is about to close but they are open til midnight. (Beyond 2 hours ahead of time their chairs are all flipped over and bathrooms closed.) Do not touch the salad bar because the broom handle was just in it. Floor mats are flipped up on the benches at the picnic table right by the front door. This lady really didn't want anyone dining in. She had ear buds in while kind of sweeping, so she didn't hear anything we were saying. As she slammed the tea stand into the side of the soda fountain, while doing something on her cellphone, we kind of pretended like she didn't exist. The lady who initially told us someone would be right with us seemed to be having a rough night, so we tried not...
