If I could leave zero stars, I would. The staff at this location (at least the staff there on this occasion) will soon run this business into the ground FAST. We order at least four times a month and have had multiple issues, but weâve always chalked them up as growing pains and continued to support this new business. We own a local business in the area and would never allow an employee to treat a customer the way my husband was today. We ordered a pizza at 4:42p and Brittany (she later stated she was the manager) asked whether or not the drivers tip should be added to the charge to which my husband advised weâd tip in cash. At 6:15 no pizza so he calls to inquire. The employee who answered asked for a ticket number (why would we have that?) then acted as if the order was never placed until my husband told her his card was already charged. Once told this, she says âoh. Thatâs carry outâ. He asked if it was supposedly carry out why Brittany mentioned a tip for the DRIVER. He asked to speak with a manager and she very rudely said, âwell you can come get the pizza!â And proceeded to laugh (never apologizing) and asked if he wanted to just cancel the order. When he told her he wanted to cancel the order, she hung up on him. Having paid for something we didnât receive, he calls back. The âmanagerâ would not give her name, franchisee information (this isnât hard considering the age of the internet), or any identifying information and proceeds to hang up again. My husband had to drive to the location and ask to speak with a manager again and 2/4 employees claimed they were the manager. He was asked again if he wanted the cold pizza and when he asked for a void receipt he was once again treated poorly. An employee making snarky remarks pulled out her phone presumably to call a boyfriend or friend to make my husband feel threatened (right idea, wrong one... I can assure you). We will never spend another dime at a Marcos Pizza and I am delighted to see if this is an accepted business practice. Iâll be writing a letter to home office and the franchisee with additional...
Read moreOnline ordering was so frustrating with poorly designed app that just couldn't recognize coupon codes or correct custom selections at checkout. Tried to call in order but after several minutes and never getting an answer, we dismissed the Delivery Option and, - went directly to the store - while phone still ringing unanswered, to find only ONE person (manager?) taking orders between making pizzas and letting phone calls go unanswered.
Waited nearly 10 minutes before placing order. When home after an hour devoted to "order and fetch", when family opened pizza, we realized it was burnt!
Since calling store was out of the picture, drove BACK to the store while the order was still hot. Manager (?) had no apology and asked if I wanted it remade. Well, yeah but, in retrospect we should have refused and insisted upon a refund or a coupon on the spot and left; because, after getting pizza remade we realized when home, it was a wrong replacement, wrong size and wrong crust. Ok, more waste and insult.
BTW, before leaving with newly remade (and still wrong, now large, not medium) pizza, I asked if I could get credit or coupon for the gas [2 trips @ 5 miles RT, +/- $3; time and AGGRAVATION] manager (?) replied from kitchen it would be handled later, after closing because she had no time!
-Ommitted demerited Stars -
What a "fubar" experience, like the LAST 2 trials with this location. Sorry, not sorry....this franchisee location is an assault on any Marco's Loyalties and, an asset for its competitors! Caveat Emptor!

Read moreI spent the last decade in Southeast Louisiana after having raised my kids in Haughton. I recently moved back to Shreveport and am reacclimating to the amenities that are now offered. I found my pizza place! Despite having never ordered pizza, I have ordered everything they are comprised of. The calzones are the best I've had and I'm old enough to be retired. I have only ordered take out which has never taken over ten minutes from phone call to pick up. Any other pizza place ever has taken at least twice that time. The dough is the best when dipped in their garlic butter dipping sauce. The cashier/cook/hostess, the one who apparently does it all, is as friendly and nice as you will encounter....
