Billy's Texas BBQ — Restaurant in Boston

Just had the worst experience ever with Billy’s BBQ and Uber eats. I accidentally placed my order without one item. I cancelled the order so I could reorder correctly. Apparently with Uber eats if you cancel and the merchant already started the order they cancel the order and still charge you. So here I am thinking okay no big deal Billy’s already started it maybe I can find someone to pick it up. I call Billy’s the lady tells me my order is almost ready. I explain to her my issue and she tells me she cannot give me my food. I tell her I have proof from Uber that I paid, I have proof from my bank that I paid, I have proof from Uber that because I cancelled I cannot get it delivered but I was charged anyway. She told me there was nothing she can do. I have been patronizing Billy’s bbq do over 15 years. I have heard all the rumors about the poor treatment and bad customer service they provide over the years. But never had a bad experience with them and always felt like I was treated well. Today change to that for me. The woman I spoke to did not care that I was out my money and out my food. Billy’s BBQ was able to keep my food and my money and they were more than happy to do it. I called back after the let down and told her I that I felt that it was bad business on her part. I will never order from Billy’s again. My boyfriend and I were craving ribs, we were going to go check out pit stop bbq, but I have been there before and have been unsatisfied, so I thought we should try something new. I called in to order and let me begin by saying the gentlemen was very polite I was asking a lot of question but he was very patient with me in taking my order. We ordered a full rack of beef bbq ribs. A side of French fries and a side of sweet potatoes. FIRST OF ALL, THOSE RIBS WERE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE .
