Symphony Sushi holds a special place in my heart as a cherished culinary haven that defined my college years. Living right next door during my college days, I found myself drawn to this gem multiple times a week, especially during those groggy hungover mornings when nothing else would suffice.
The staff at Symphony Sushi were not only incredibly sweet but also impressively efficient. They always greeted me with warm smiles, making me feel like a valued regular customer. Their attentive service combined with the mouthwatering sushi spread created an unforgettable dining experience every time.
One of the highlights that set Symphony Sushi apart was its bangin' soundtrack. The eclectic tunes played in the background added a lively touch to the dining ambiance, making every visit feel like a delightful symphony of flavors and melodies.
Even though my college days are long gone, the allure of Symphony Sushi has stayed with me throughout my travels. No matter where I find myself in the world, a craving for the classics they serve always takes over. Whenever I'm back in town, it's an absolute must-stop on my itinerary, as I know I'll be welcomed with familiar flavors and unmatched hospitality.
Symphony Sushi's menu boasts phenomenal classic sushi, prepared with finesse and served with love. It's the perfect spot to unwind, crack open a cold supporo, and savor the simplicity and authenticity of well-crafted sushi.
The only tiny wish I have is for Symphony Sushi to consider offering outdoor seating during the summer months. I can only imagine how delightful it would be to enjoy their delectable sushi creations under the open sky, making it an oasis of pure bliss.
Symphony Sushi is more than just a restaurant; it's an oasis of nostalgia and culinary delights. With its warm and efficient staff, delectable sushi offerings, and an atmosphere infused with wonderful music, this place has left an indelible mark on my heart. For all those who appreciate classic sushi and an unforgettable dining experience, Symphony Sushi is an absolute must-visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time at Symphony Sushi. I live in Dorchester, so it was quite the drive, however I heard some raving reviews of the place. Parking is limited, as I went for lunch on a Monday it was Meter Parking only I was lucky enough to find a meter right in front of the restaurant. The decor is unique and the music is quiet and enjoyable. We were greeted and sat at a half table half booth. The restaurant was not busy at all as we were only one of three tables. Our server bought over some waters with no greeting at all. After a while of browsing through the menu and researching our questions on it alone we had to grab her attention to place drink orders. We ordered Sake, spicy edamame, tuna tempura maki rolls, seaweed salad, and seafood miso soup. After a while our sever did come over to ask if everything was okay, we said yes and ordered the Redsox maki rolls which has to be the best maki I have ever eaten. Just when we were ordering the sushi chefs all sat down for lunch as did the person who greeted us and even our own server was eating just a few tables away from us. Our RedSox rolls were so delayed we were about ready to go once it arrived since one chef finally got up to make it. There was a sign that says you get a mystery gift for giving a review when I asked on the way out the greeter just handed me a bucket and told me to pick a packet. It was a cute little cat , Iāve posted pictures for you to see. All in all the food here is marvelous but the service leaves a bad...

I wiped my hands and then wiped the table because it was sticky, the table was so DIRTY. So dirty. I wished I had table pictures of the initial wipe of the table. Then I asked the only server if we can get the table wiped and she gave me a single dry bounty .... I honestly was baffled. I get that there's one server with 4 tables but the least you can do is clean the table.
We just layed down paper towels that she placed down for us.
Bento boxes were great!
Problem would be the torched toro with snow crab roll... The toro was not toro but it tasted alright. But the false advertised snow crab was just straight up mixed crab stick I can find in and asian market. It didn't taste bad but just call it torched tuna with crab.
It was not toro and it was not snow crab Also we found plastic in the roll when we ate it. Mistakes happen. Which is fine but my issue is with the same server who just stared at us when we told her that there's plastic in the food. Eventually we got a replacement and it was fine.
Food was fine. I'd probably order take out with the basic things but will never come dine in again.
Lose the edible flowers, I know they ain't cheap and it doesn't do anything for the dishes. It's the pandemic, save your funds. Focus more on the service and the actual food.
Beware of sticky tables, mediocre food,...
